You need to get some duck clips and clip them at the bottom of your twist so they stay down while they dry and you just need a lot of those tiny rubber bands

Nah just use a rubber band at the end cuz I have type 3 hair and rubber bands stops it from unravelling. Make sure it's a good quality rubber band otherwise it will pop out within 2weeks

Other than shampoo those are the only products ive been using and it works great. I twist my hair every week or 2 and it looks really good every time. Its a lot easier than you think too, just follow this guys videos the first time and then u can do it alone from then
How do you sleep with your twists in? Cos I put my durag on at night, wake up next morning and the twists at the back of my head are bent cos of the durag and the back of my head? Also is there anyway to straighten them after this?
Ik I’m hella late but for anyone reading this in the future, be sure to pull ur twists/braids down when putting the Durag over them to sleep or jst chill. Doing this avoid them shrinking too much and getting bent.

Blow-drying your hair stretches it so it should definitely affect the length for your twists. And I didn't use gel on my twists, just cream, but that'd probably because I wanted a twist-out and took my twists down an hour or so after they had set
@@j_toosleepy Dove's Shaping Butter Cream did the trick for me(however, the consistency is pretty lose if that isnt your gig), but Camille Rose's Almond Jai Twisting Butter is a fire product as well(thicker consistency, but costs more). Smells great too

Nah just use a rubber band at the end cuz I have type 3 hair and rubber bands stops it from unravelling. Make sure it's a good quality rubber band otherwise it will pop out within 2weeks
