If anyone is experiencing issues with the whistles not functioning properly, there has been an update issued. You'll want to redownload your cdp and submit the newer versions.
I really hope you respond. I want to get Trainz because your models are just amazingly done but I don't know which one to get. Can anyone tell me the recommended Trainz simulator please? I would greatly appreciate it. (btw I already know the models are supported by many different trainz simulators but I just want the one best for these models).
He ought to apologize to all of these poor little gimme piglets who had to suffer through waiting for his locomotives while he selfishly gave you painstakingly detailed layouts instead... 🤲🐷
K&L thank you so much in bringing N0 261 to life. This is like your early christmas gift to us all. You stared this year super awesome with the fiction PRR FG-1 and now you end this year with 261 with a legendary train. thank you again so much.
A wonderful video! You did an excellent job modeling the 261. The in cab portion beginning at 4:44 looks as if you were able to utilize a photograph of the real thing. Kudos on a job well done.
Another powerful (still running) 4-8-4, it's very interesting to know what kind of railroads these engines come from and what stories they carry. Never seem to disappoint, Steve.
Steve, you really got me with this one. Never seen 261 before, however, I believe that watching a video of 261 many years ago is what got me interested in the Milwaukee Road. What a stunning locomotive you have made in Trainz! Thanks Steve!
I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It, I Don't Need It.......... I NEED IT!
Hey Steve this is a great engine and great video I had trouble the first few times but I got it now. Can’t wait for the Hudson type Locomotive And A&WP 290 because that’s my hometown rails and I’m making the hole line from Montgomery to Antlanta
Thank you very much for making the S3, been waiting for this for a VERY long time and you did a great job. I happened to be sitting in that very same cab with a hot firebox ahead of me at the time you released this, and I can verify that the detail in the cab is spot on!
I noticed that you replaced the UP #844 with the RBM&N #425 (we needed a new model anyway). Here's a fun fact; the 425 used to be owned by the Gulf Mobile & Northern railroad (you probably know this), and I think you should include the livery when the 425 was in its GM&N days onto the engine as well.
Hey K&L Trainz I absolutely love your models. I have a request on a future build, can you please make the Union Pacific Big Boy 4014. I would love to get to use it for a route
I honestly wish that the MKT 403 observation car was available Hopefully when we come out with Santa Fe 3751 it will appear with the Grand Canyon Limited
Not a bad video man and plus you did it timed perfectly I already bought it already you can make your own bath and then what you just saw her another norther and I hope I’ll see you another one soon ATSF 3751 Good video
What a magnificent train, I love it, very good model. I have a separate question, What happen to UP 844?, Will some come out some day? Awesome train K&l trainz ;)
from what i heard from other people i think the commissioner for 844 couldnt decided wether he wanted 844 or 425, i guess he made up his mind and chose 425 i guess
one word for this video AMAZING i've always liked the 261 it's just a beautiful locomotive and i like that the set is with many of the matching Hiawatha passenger cars that the friends of the 261 own (i definitely understand that you couldn't make all the cars i've actually tried to do the research of the cars the group owns and i keep getting confused of which cars they own cause i'm not sure if they sold some of them like the lamberts point car cause it's not on the website no more and now have new ones) i just have been trying to know what the friends of the 261 own (i would like to see mth make the 261 it's the one engine they haven't made yet)
Does all of the coaches advertised in this video come with this model? Or do I have to buy separate trains? Also this is soon going to be in my cart lol... I've been excitedly waiting for this model
All of the Milwaukee Road cars come with it. The majority of the others shown in the New River Gorge scene are available in various other packs of mine, plus a few quick reskins and private mods I never released are included in the video only.
Is there anyway you could put out a tutorial on how you get your game to run so smoothly. I have a pretty high end computer and my game runs hardly 5 minutes without crashing
Robert Kersey ik that model exists but I was hoping there was one out there either from the CNW or MILW that was in Union Pacific yellow paint scheme like the real one was in the photos I’ve seen
All 3 have the mars light and horn. You add the mars light by click the ? button on the train tab and then click the engine. There is an extra setting you can check on or off to show the mars light.
If anyone is experiencing issues with the whistles not functioning properly, there has been an update issued. You'll want to redownload your cdp and submit the newer versions.
K&L Trainz thanks for the friendly heads up
Why is the red emergency light on all the time
@Berkshire765 oh okay

@@bhomas_real Depends on how good your computer is. I currently use the Trainz: A New Era game it does just fine for me.
After waiting literally over 10 years since tume showed his model, we finally have this beautiful model.
I felt the same way, it’s so good to finally see a 261 model be released.
We're still waiting on his Bi-polar electric loco.
@Grand Trunk Western 6039 U-1-c but looks like tume has
He ought to apologize to all of these poor little gimme piglets who had to suffer through waiting for his locomotives while he selfishly gave you painstakingly detailed layouts instead... 🤲🐷
Seeing that Steamtown Excursion section brought back so many memories. Another great model Steve!
Mack-Book Pro yes, I only got to see it on VHS, but this is a favorite by far for me. My favorite locomotive and the whistle for the steam town ones
Absolutely astounding! I’ve been waiting for LITERALLY years to get my hands on the S-3 ever since I played Microsoft Train Simulator!
K&L thank you so much in bringing N0 261 to life. This is like your early christmas gift to us all. You stared this year super awesome with the fiction PRR FG-1 and now you end this year with 261 with a legendary train. thank you again so much.

Just a gorgeous model. Absolutely top notch Steve. The very first steam locomotive I saw operating in person.
K&l train this is by far the best one you made in my opinion I always wanted this steam in my collection thanks for sharing it
Great release steve! This is an exciting one. LOVE that engine. I remember watching the real shot of it many many times. Knew what it was immediately
One of my favorite Northerns up to date!
Another powerful (still running) 4-8-4, it's very interesting to know what kind of railroads these engines come from and what stories they carry. Never seem to disappoint, Steve.

That Milwaukee Road 3 chime. Just incredible.
Great video, Steve. Milwaukee Road 261 is a beautiful S-3 steam locomotive. I do want to see this engine.
Love the New River Gorge scene!!!!
I-Trooper089 Productions yes 3 trainsteam Who are the five places in the 90s

finally, the first ever 261 available for trainz... great work Steve!
What we're all been waiting for to get! Great job, Steve! Heart this!
K&L Trainz never lets me down, constantly impressing me with the content. Thanks, Steve. Can't wait to buy this at Christmas. 😊
You have to commission it and it's not free
@@consolidationproductions how much does it cost to commission a project?
@@consolidationproductions I know.
It's finally arrived! Amazing work as always Steve.
Finally, an MILW S3 for Trainz! This looks very good, nice job.
Beautiful model as always, definitely going to pick this one up after school’s out.
Wonderful job on the model, looks spectacular!!
FINALLY ITS HERE!!!! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOREVER
Once again you’ve hit it outta the park. Awesome video as always.
I have been waiting such a long time. The MILW has always been my favorite railroad
Excellent job as always, Mr Lerro
Steve, this is GORGEOUS!
I hear that, in time, you will be working on the B&M R1 4-8-2. I might have had a feeling that you would make it one day but I wasn’t sure.
A user named Trainzume made a 261 model as well I believe . But this is pure beauty!
Unfortunately, he never released it.
Hey Steve this is a great engine and great video I had trouble the first few times but I got it now. Can’t wait for the Hudson type Locomotive And A&WP 290 because that’s my hometown rails and I’m making the hole line from Montgomery to Antlanta

That model looks absolutely amazing, keep up the good work!
the Tobyhanna and Lackawanna Excursions would've made a nice edition to the package but once again this ranks as among the best.
Thank you ever so much for making this K&L Trainz! Thank you!
This is glorious. Now just imagine R&N 425.
Once again, another job well done Steve! Next Stop: C&O 490!
If there are no side projects before then.
Finally, an S3! Always a nice loco from you Steve!
Yes!!! Great job, Steve!!!!!

Can we see an SP 4449 in the future?
(Bugs bunny) No
Cool Milwaukee road S3 class 4-8-4 Northern number 261.
Well done!!!! This is more like it and congrats!!!!!!!
Hey K&L Trainz I absolutely love your models. I have a request on a future build, can you please make the Union Pacific Big Boy 4014. I would love to get to use it for a route
there is a 4014 on trainz forge! great looking model
Yes my dream has come true Thank you for making this possible
I honestly wish that the MKT 403 observation car was available Hopefully when we come out with Santa Fe 3751 it will appear with the Grand Canyon Limited

Yes this best thing great work k&l another great model
Amazing, just amazing.
Got to see the real 261 back in August myself
wonderful passenger cars!
Is there even a route that would suit the Milwaukee road? I know that season town northern would be one
Should probably make a Discord server, it would give us contact to the 3 of you, and also brings the K&L community together
Will Milwaukee Road 261 And Santa Fe 3751 Be A Doubleheader Steam Train Locomotives
Where did you get all the coaches for the excursion shots (apart from the Milwaukee road ones which I know are included with the engine)
Hi Steve and the other members, just sent you an email from my T&T Business Mail. Great Content. Kind regards Christoph
He said that he wanted to get a Union Pacific “pass” to distribute the locomotive for money. Otherwise he would get copyrighted.
Thanks for the answers :)
@@enzoeatstrainz8967 that was the issue? i was told the commissioner couldnt decide on a locomotive
Pacific Productions it could also be that. But I’m pretty sure k&l said they need some kind of certificate to upload it and make profit off of it.
How did you get the camera angle at 4:28 ?
I saw that grey Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Car but awesome video
Love the whistle
I. Ant believe I miss this
YES ITS HERE!!!

Amazing!!!
Fantastic mate. Is that a coach from ever RR you've done at 1:30? haha
Great job! Were there any specific maps used in the making?
Does all of the coaches advertised in this video come with this model? Or do I have to buy separate trains? Also this is soon going to be in my cart lol... I've been excitedly waiting for this model
All of the Milwaukee Road cars come with it. The majority of the others shown in the New River Gorge scene are available in various other packs of mine, plus a few quick reskins and private mods I never released are included in the video only.
Very nice!
Yes it’s here
hippity hoppity 261 will soon be my property
Boy it is not you property. Its the railroad’s property.
Is there anyway you could put out a tutorial on how you get your game to run so smoothly. I have a pretty high end computer and my game runs hardly 5 minutes without crashing
Yes!
Saul pushing Chelsea due to her safety valve breaking down
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the name of the text font used in this video?
I can’t wait for C&O 490 to be released
Yeah or ATSF 3751
Will You Make Milwaukee Road 265 From The Illinois Railway Musuem?
The model has ARN (Alpha/Automatic Running Numbers), so you can change the number on the model. (expect DL&W 1661.)
Just awesome how long does it take you to build these routes and Is there anywhere I can buy them?
They are not routes. They are individual Scenes Built Just For The Promo. So they are not available.
Bay Area Railfan Productions Dang that would’ve been cool doing a little railfanning on these routes
THEY FINALLY DID IT GAMERS! Also can you please make NYS&W #142?
You have to commission it
Can you make a steam train 4-8-2 BM&R/R&N Plz.
Where did ya'll get the tanker cars?
Will the secondary whistle and horn work on SP1 and MAC?
It should, although you may need to bind the key yourself.
This is amazing could you please do a Wasatch (aka big boy)
he doesnt do requests, you gotta commission.
Also, there is also a good model of the Big Boy from Trainz Forge.
(trainz-forge.com/contact)
YASSS 261!!!!!!
Wooo hoo finally
Now I just wish somebody made a MILW FP7A and FP7B in Union Pacific pain scheme so I could recreate the copper country limited
You can.
(trainz-forge.com/p/diesel)
Robert Kersey ik that model exists but I was hoping there was one out there either from the CNW or MILW that was in Union Pacific yellow paint scheme like the real one was in the photos I’ve seen
Since Milwaukee road was bought by Soo line, is 261 owned by them?
She's privately owned by Friends of 261.
Where did you find the carita s coach ????
i love A&WP 290 that ran a very long time i have never been to the New Georgia Railroad in my life to see number 290 roll down the track?
Which version of the S3 has the mars light and the horn, V1, V2, or V3, and how do I put them on?
All 3 have the mars light and horn. You add the mars light by click the ? button on the train tab and then click the engine. There is an extra setting you can check on or off to show the mars light.
@@KLTrainz Thank you
Could you make the Milwaukee Road F7 Hiawatha. I would pay a nice amount for that
this is epic
Too bad TUME couldn’t finish the MILW 261. But great job on the engine and super dome and observation car.
Cool!
Nice!
