- The mass start of the World Championship Gravel race is pure chaos. Every rider fights to be in the front, aiming for the best position when the narrow gravel sections come up. In this video, we show you the bizarre chaos from inside the peloton, with our riders Adam Toupalik, Lander Loockx and Joren Bloem. Can we make it to a good position in the front and keep up with the top riders during the WC Gravel 2024?

I could watch this all day. And I already raced it 🥴
Great to see you make a cameo!
@cameronmason is it this hectic all race?
I was watching about 15k from the finish and everybody seemed to be full gas when they came past from elites to the oldest group?
One of the best cyclist PoVs I have ever seen
A lot of people were bitching about “gravel worlds" not being gravel enough, which is stupid already, but extra stupid after watching this. Nuts!
To be fair the gravel parts were few and not gnarly and not steep at all. Now the PACE & INTENSITY are insane but the course itself wasn’t very technical
It's not stupid because there was basically zero gravel. Putting hundred's of riders into narrow streets and forest trails doesn't make it gravel race. I do not say it was easy, because it was not. But it was hard and dangerous for wrong reasons
@@SamuelBlackMetalRider If you want steep and gnarly, take a MTB.
The course is 40%+ paved.... Doe that sounds like a gravel course to you?
@@JAB-jp6leDid you see anyone with a road bike in the front group? No? Probably because its a gravel course. If it wasn't a gravel course, many would have simply ridden a road bike.
Huge battle in the peloton. MVDP doing his coffee ride on the first row 😂
Fabulous. Absolutely savage & hectic indeed. You can feel the insane power & speed… the skills required to survive in such a bunch are surreal.
I could watch the whole race like this. Please upload more! 😊
The bike handling skills on display here are insane!
Wow that looked bloody mental! Chapeau to all you guys 👍
Excellent footage, thanks so much for sharing!
You must all be crazy
😮😮😮. Others make videos, this is a full fledged Gravel Action Blockbuster 😮😮😮
I wish all races were as exciting to watch as this.
absolutely crazy 🤯
lol really?
Cyclocross x Paris-Roubaix x Kermesse x Lottery...?....incredible ❤
WTH… Wow breathtaking was this footage!! Amazing
Awesome! Please upload more!
Carnage, a word well chosen indeed!
Insane 🤯
I ride these type of roads all the time. It can be sketchy doing them on your own. Riding them in a race in an angry pack is on a different level and requires serious riding skills and big balls
Holy bloomin eck!! That brings back memories of Belgian Kermesse racing....lol!
the true spirit of gravel
That shoulder contact at 1:49 was huge
Great footage!
It's beautiful, too bad it's too short
Boahhhh.... nice hard action :)
Cool to see how chaotic things are in the Gravel WC peleton. That said, because you're riding for countries (and in country jersies), I don't have the same TDT feeling as with the road races.
Self cleaning lens great footage
One person greases out and the gaps get big quick. Brutal! Would be interesting to see the avg speed data per 20k segments. Does anyone ascend through all this riding evenly? Probably not.
Prachtig! ❤
Awesome footage!
It’s like the last last lap of a criterium on mud and crappy roads
this is amazing.
wow prachtige video
amazing
Pls drop the whole video no cuts
Wel erg veel Belgen. En wat een chaos haha
Cool 😎
More chaos than a crit race. I can only imagine what was not captured on film
Love it....
Die gingen snel ja ❤
shat
mad grind
What. The. Fuck. Impressive how it à block from start to finish 😮
did it cool down a bit during the race ?
De Katwijkse duinen op zondagochtend rond half 11😂
The videos you never show to your (non-riding) partner. "How was the race dear? Nice ... "
Wie had de go pro? Lander of Joren?
Vet
are you going to tell us who was riding?
The front cam is Lander, the reverse cam Joren
@@maurits7459 Almost correct, the front cam is Adam Toupalik 😉 But indeed for us Lander, Adam and Joren competed yesterday 🔥
Did they finish
@@insideTDT
@@JasperDeWolf-k5q ja joren was 17e
Sounds like a herd of buffalo running.
❤
That’s crazy…. You have to be flat out just to hold the wheel… what about all the guys behind you? Damn, it’s very combative riding.
MvDP at 3:00?
Yes
Yay bike path world championship race 🎉
A pack of wolfs on steroids chasing the white rabbit
And they say it's not a watching sport..
place 155 + 36:17 in the end

Upload on the other channel
Waanzinnige fietsbeheersing
Where's the gravel? This is a road race with a couple of sections of off road.
Losgeslagen stieren 😂
Eeeeerst
more of a road race than a gravel race. UCI is a joke
Spirit of gravel, bitches!
Yeah, bring a stick to poke mud from your bike, and hike a bike for 10 miles. That's true gravel racing ... lol
