As someone working in private security, it is DEFINITELY needed when dealing with a group of 4 or 5 individuals in an apartment parking lot screaming and threatening each other. I’ve been there and had to deal with it.
Planning on opening a spacious public business and at times I expect it can get busy and loud, so I plan on having this installed on security golf carts whenever security needs to urgently respond to an incident, such as security who has EMS training that needs to get to the other side of the building fast and respond to a cardiac arrest for example. There will be policies in place from employees going free on the sirens and trying not to scare anybody.

In mine they reversed the polarity. If you did everything right and the fuse is still blowing. Open the unit and switch the orange(+) and black(-) wires.(common manufacturing mistake) worked fine after. Orange(+) should be furthest from the back plate.

How many amps can the control switches handle? I ordered a POV Strobe Warning Light Combo Kit - LITE Edition III from you. Actually two, I'm planning on running all of those lights except I'll only use one windshield suction cup light. Can those switches withstand that many lights?

Here in Nevada, it is ILLEGAL to have a siren installed in your car, regardless of whether you use it or not, unless you are an Emergency Service Provider. NRS 484D.400 Horns and other warning devices. A vehicle must not be equipped with, and a person shall not use upon a vehicle, a siren, whistle or bell, except as otherwise provided in this chapter. It is permissible, but not required, to equip a vehicle with a theft alarm which is arranged so that it cannot be used by the driver as an ordinary warning signal. In Nevada and perhaps other states, it is the policy of the LEO Agencies to dismantle and remove the sirens and illegal red and blue lights from any vehicle that is not authorized to install those devices. They will do it right then and there alongside the road. They ripped my son's rear license plate off, because it had a thin blue neon light around it. AND, before anyone responds with who they would sue... Slap yourself! Stop being silly!
The SoundAlert has a 100W system vs the Wolo which is a 50W system. The SoundAlert also has 5 sound modes + horn & siren, hands free operation feature, and 2 auxiliary switches that you can use to power up lights or other power equipment. The Wolo has 3 sound modes and none of the other stuff. Hope this answers your question.

The switches can handle up to 15 Amps each, they'll be able to handle plenty of lights.
You always use a lower amperage switch power a relay that can handle many more amps.
It's the same tones the Chinese police (aka Ministry of Public Security and People's Armed Police) use.

You would need to check with your county to see if this is okay, and it depends on how you use it too.
