Paul Di'Anno was the original singer. They say he partied too much so they kicked him out. Me thinks it was the great bruce dickenson was rich as F and could fund the bands new album and tour. meh, is what it is. I love the results !!!!!!!!!!
I think it's helpful to point out that Bruce doesn't sing on this album; instead, it's their first vocalist, Paul DiAnno! Bruce joins on the Number Of The Beast album, which actually turns 40 this month!
As much as i love Bruce...those first 2 albums with Paul will always have a special place in my metalheart! That stuff was so groundbreaking and still some of their best songs. Phantom Of The Opera...what a masterpiece! Never saw em with this line up unfortunately (1st time was 1983, World Piece Tour in Amsterdam) Btw...i'd love to see you react to some more Saxon, Princess Of The Night is their best song imo (especially the version on their 1982 live album The Eagle Has Landed) Greetingz from Holland \m/
Great reaction, as a few mention below, Bruce was not signing. It was Paul who was on the first two albums. As far as new songs from the new album go, check out Death of the Celts, and Hell on Earth. Both long epic songs!!!! Up the Irons!
I recommend checking all of their songs from the latest album but some of my personal favorites from this album are The Parchment, Hell on Earth & Darkest Hour.
This is Paul Di Anno singing. I saw Maiden at the 1980 and 1981 Reading Rock Festival, where, coincidentally, Samson were also playing with a certain Bruce Dickinson on vocals. Pat Travers was also there with Nico McBrain on drums. A year later Nico was there with French band Trust. I still have a drumstick with "Nico, Trust In Us" written on it. Clive Burr, original Maiden drummer, bless him, went to play with Trust for a while. Small world, ainnit? All hail to thee, brother. Greetings and well-wishes from Belgium.
As much as I love Bruce era Maiden, the two albums with Paul Di'Anno will always be my favorite Maiden era. Those two albums had such a raw sound, especially their debut album. Paul was always a punk rocker at heart. These albums had a heavy metal meets punk rock feel to it. Check out Di'Anno's solo material. Most of it is really good. I think his album, Murder One, is his best solo album.
Bruce Dickinson isn’t the Lead Singer of Iron Maiden on their first two albums. Not until Number of the Beast. Paul Dianne is the lead a singer of Iron Maiden’s first two albums. Bruce at this time leads the band called Samson.
You gotta react to the first record to really hear the difference between Paul DiAnno the first singer on their first 2 albums and the progression Bruce had with the 3rd album they're both amazing in their own way
Is it true you are seeing BAND-MAID in Houston in October? I'm flying over from England for the Houston and San Diego gigs, be awesome to meet you while I'm there.
Can't believe you didn't realise that wasn't Bruce singing... if you liked that though and want more Paul Di'anno stuff check out: Purgatory, Prowler, Phantom of the Opera or Running Free.
I paused it around 10 minutes forty-two seconds, to say, do you know what's fun? discovering Iron Maiden as a sophomore in H.S. in 1981 and going on to see them 5 times in the 80's with Bruce as the new singer and loving everything about his voice except for songs from the self-titled first album, "Iron Maiden", and their second album "Killers". Bruce, imo, could never really nail this song. He fairs better on the self-titled song "Iron Maiden" but Paul Di'Anno can't be matched on these studio albums. That said, Piece of Mind and Powerslave? Bruce and Maiden are legends. Up The Irons!
This is actually Paul Di'anno singing however there's 2 versions Bruce sings in the Beast Over Hammersmith and Maiden England!! do a comparison and see which you like better! Maiden England and Beast Over Hammersmith are both live BUT Maiden England has video whereas the Beast Over Hammersmith doesn't! It's just from the CD
Paul Di’Anno deserves more respect he was only the lead singer for a short time but what a voice I personally prefer Bruce Dickinson but that does not mean Paul wasn’t a great singer cause he was I believe he just became frustrated with the constant touring in the early days so left the band in I believe it was 80/81
thats not correct, sorry...but he was fired because Maiden had to cancel the last 10 concerts on their important USA tour. Paul couldnt go on stage because his drugs/alcohol abuse got serious...til today he doesnt stop shittalking bout bruce and the boys....its a shame
Ok Mr. Rock n Roll or Mr. Metal and "my boy Bruce" .....and don't recognize that Bruce doesn't sing at all that he wasn't even in the Band, don't know that on the first two Maiden albums Paul Di'Anno was the Singer??? 🤔 Ok Mr. Rock n Roll 😂 That's embarrassing 😂🤣

meh, is what it is.

I love Bruce's singing, but I will always prefer the rawness of Paul's vocals.
That's funny how you fell in love with"not BRUCE DICKINSON"! LOL
Don’t worry, Bruce’s real forename is Paul, too: Paul Bruce Dickinson😊
RIP PAUL
Paul is so underrated. He had a rawness that Bruce doesn't have. It's not perfect singing but it's real AF
yeah, fucking Kokain , poor Paul.
Paul Di'anno will always be the coolest frontman in metal and it's a shame he only made 2 Maiden albums cause they are masterpieces
Dianno on vocals and the late great Clive burr on drums
wasnt Thunderstick the drummer on this album? i know he is on one of the albums
The first album Iron Maiden and the second Killers are my favorite two Maiden albums, Paul DiAnnio is singing on those two, that's classic Maiden
helk yeah!!!
I think it's helpful to point out that Bruce doesn't sing on this album; instead, it's their first vocalist, Paul DiAnno! Bruce joins on the Number Of The Beast album, which actually turns 40 this month!
Paul Di'Anno was not their first vocalist, but rather their third. Paul Day and Dennis Wilcock sang for Maiden before Di'Anno.
@@johnnyraymond429 Ah yeah, I'm well aware, don't worry. It just came out like that since he was the first on an album
Oh my god you didn’t know yet!!! I LOVE watching reactions to people hearing Paul Di’Anno for the first time. Such an unexpected treat!!!
As much as i love Bruce...those first 2 albums with Paul will always have a special place in my metalheart!

Damn, this Album changed my Life back in the Days it was released!!!
Great reaction, as a few mention below, Bruce was not signing. It was Paul who was on the first two albums.
As far as new songs from the new album go, check out Death of the Celts, and Hell on Earth. Both long epic songs!!!! Up the Irons!
the second guitar solo is one of the best shreds in metal history
WOW the old iron maiden 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
I LOVE this era of Maiden...popped my "Iron" cherry when this came out back in the day
Rest in Peace Paul, God Bless (1958-2024)😢😟🙁🙏
There's 2 guitarists shredding in Maiden my friend, Dave Murray and Adrian Smith. This album came out in 1981. HOW have you never heard this before???
And Clive Burr at the Drums !!!
the first song on their first album 'prowler' is FIRE bro, thats the first song i ever learned to play on guitar
I recommend checking all of their songs from the latest album but some of my personal favorites from this album are The Parchment, Hell on Earth & Darkest Hour.
Darkest Hour is good. Stratego is good. The tile track has some heaviness. The rest, well, it’s bloated and redundant.
Phantom of the opera dianno first album absolute classic
I bought this album back in 1982. Still love it. I was hooked as soon as the needle dropped on the record.
NO SHIT, Woolworths for me '83. My mum was listening to ABBA and Neil Diamond
My reaction was the same when I first heard this album way back in the early 80s😅
Its paul Dianno..and also bad ass!! First time i heard maiden back in early 80's huge fan ever since UP THE IRONS!!
Yeah drums are the rhythm section!😮
I used to listen to this song in the subway.
Gotta do Wrathchild of this album next.
The Time Machine, Hell on Earth. My favorites from the new album.
This song is insane good! So high energy

Your reaction to this one mirrored my own first time I heard it.
Killers, my first iron maiden song listened, i love it
Good to see you back with an other maiden reaction ,,up the irons!!! 🤘🤘🤘
whole album is a bucking banger dude.
Grew up loving Iron maiden there first 2 albums have to say are my fave Charlotte the harlot and killers are just wicked
The whole album is a killer. Their #1 album for me. Sorry Bruce.
Bruce Dickinson isn’t the Lead Singer of Iron Maiden on their first two albums. Not until Number of the Beast. Paul Dianne is the lead a singer of Iron Maiden’s first two albums. Bruce at this time leads the band called Samson.
Yes man you have it from the get go
For something newer that has this classic feel, Burst Into Flames by Haunt, and Firestorm by Ambush
"Remember to walk in the light"
First 2 albums are the best era for maiden, and always will be
What can I say♠️♥️♠️
Paul Di'ano is the singer on this one bro.
You gotta react to the first record to really hear the difference between Paul DiAnno the first singer on their first 2 albums and the progression Bruce had with the 3rd album they're both amazing in their own way
ManOwaR - Spirit Horse Of The Cherokee
all of the new album 💿 the song are there are brilliant
The new album is surprisingly good. The best since Brave New World IMO.
Mr. Rock & Roll Iron Maiden Killers A Killer Album
And no, its not Bruce Dickinson singing here 😂
Ha ha man you're really crazy! 😂😂
There's a mountain when it comes to metal. Maiden stand at the top of Everest without oxygen
Paul brought punk to metal!
Love to have seen what maiden would've been like if PAUL stayed with the band!
Di'anno was and always will be Maide for me.
hey mr rock and roll we miss the reactions to manowar videos. please react to "the gods made heavy metal"
Is it true you are seeing BAND-MAID in Houston in October? I'm flying over from England for the Houston and San Diego gigs, be awesome to meet you while I'm there.
Couldn't make it to the Huston one sadly. BUT I will be at the one in Dallas TX!!

Only Iron Maiden I like is when Paul Di'anno sings (first two albums)
Can't believe you didn't realise that wasn't Bruce singing...
if you liked that though and want more Paul Di'anno stuff check out: Purgatory, Prowler, Phantom of the Opera or Running Free.

Paul was Great but didn't have the energy of Bruce Dickinson I don't think anyone had that kind of energy
Paul DiAnno rules !!!
"The Parchment" from the latest album would be my choice.
Erreor 404 bruce not found 😁
Murder in the Rue Morgue! Still not Bruce 😅
Hello Paul I see you!!!!
That's not Bruce singing. It is the 1st singer Paul
No not Bruce.... Paul DiAnno.... oooops!
It’s not Bruce it’s Paul Di-anno the singer mate he did the first two maiden albums
That Ryan George shirt tho
It's Paul DiAnno singing
Paul Di’Anno deserves more respect he was only the lead singer for a short time but what a voice I personally prefer Bruce Dickinson but that does not mean Paul wasn’t a great singer cause he was I believe he just became frustrated with the constant touring in the early days so left the band in I believe it was 80/81

That's embarrassing 😂🤣
Shoot I knew nothing about this band at the time haha but hey I DO NOW!!
Paul
Does he ever figure out this is not Bruce singing?
High on life or perhaps something else?
You do have headphones right
You need to react to Reclaimed Earth and UAC Antlantica from DOOM Eternal trust me, you won’t regret it
Maiden sonaba mucho mejor con clive en la batería y Paul en el micrófono..y no lo voy a discutir con nadie 😊
Not bruce bro. Please. Paul is way better
listen la leyenda del hada y el mago rata blanca greetings from Argentina
