I came across with your vlog, very detailed and you are a good story teller. Very inspiring ang kwneto lalo na sa journey mo paano naging Rn sa canada. Nakaktuwang panoorin, actually kararating ko lang din working as RN in Vancouver…hope to meet u soon if given the chance
Transition was HARD but manageable. I never worked in a hospital. I was an Occupational Health Nurse my entire nursing career in the Ph. Pero mabait kasi mga tao dito sa work, magaling and very patient yung preceptor ko kaya it went well. (:
I'm from Calgary too pero I choose this pathway to become ON RN. coz here in AB super haba ng process. ask lang paano ka po nag apply ng work sa ON? san pong website naghahanap ng work in ON for nurses? waiting for eligibility na ako for NCLEX. I'm just thinking ahead. salamat sa pagsagot. :)
Hi Nikki! I have friends na nag refer/recommend. Let me know if may RN license ka na here in ON, try applying dito sa hospital kung saan ako nag wo-work (: good luck on your NCLEX-RN journey! 🍀
@@PaulRNhi paulRN , pwede mag ask ng question?? Im here pa sa pinas. And im waiting pa sa PPR namin dahil ang wife ko nag caregiver siya. We were both pHRN. Fortunately i passes may Nclex Exam. Could you give me an advice kung ano next step ko gagawin.. NNAS?? TIA
I do not know yet. I just started working in Feb. 4 months pa lang ako nag wo-work as RN in Canada. But as a full time nurse, my expected hours in 1 year is 1950 hours. With that being said, 1950 x my basic = around 79k Canadian dollars, or around 3M pesos per year GROSS. Malaki tax dito sa Ontario (specifically) so I would say nasa half ng gross ko ang Net ko annually. Depende ba kung masipag ako mag pick up ng extra shifts.
I KNOW!!!! Imagine yung room na nire-rent ko dito sa Ontario ay $900 per month. Halos pwede na pang mortgage ng bahay sa Alberta. 😅 But to answer your question, I MIGHT go back.
nurse paul, can you make a video kung paano mo na ipasa ang jurisprudence, mahirap ba? Pwede kaba mag jurisprudence now while nag wawait sa nnas result.

Salamat po sa pag inspire ❤️🙏
Bakit po mas pinili nio po Canada vs US? Sabi po mas malaki sahod USRN compared to Canada just curious Lang Ty po
What department did you work? Do you find exhausting with 12-hr shift? stable & ambulatory patients po ba?
There are days na tiring there are days na okay. Pero in general, it is okay, at least for me.
Iba iba patients iba iba needs since nasa Med/Surg ako.
How’s your transition po? Is it difficult? Since from the Philippines yung previous experience, hnd po ba Ganun kahirap magadjust?

One more thing, if you want to go back to AB, need mo lang mag work sa ON for 1,125 hours then pwede mo na endorse license mo without IELTS. (:
