I purchased one of these myself and have to say they ain’t bad at all I think they purposely make the official t discs cheaper vs buying beans whole and grinding your own and filling up a reusable disc vs throw away they don’t even offer recycling at stores that they sell the official tassimo tfiscs all that plastic n foil ending up potentially in a osndfill
They basically seek convenience and not everyone wants to spend x amount of time money effort grinding filling tamping etc for a mug of coffee
I for one am happy that I’m not disposing of plastic t discs in refuse waste sure it costs more in shorte term to buy beans etc but think of environment not for ourselves but for future generations
It’s all about repeat custom

You could try powdered milk. That’s essentially what’s in those milk pods I think.
