These are actually very good! Shame Vex won’t add them on the base model. Have you considered using a chu chu mechanism instead for adjustable shots? Also if you have the parts, an H-drive might be useful for lineups as well.
Have u seen Ben Lipper's "Misfire" robot? that uses the chu chu mechanism. It is pretty easy to build, and works well. let me know if u try it! PS u are the only person who has commented on any video on my channel so thanks 😉
An H drive would be a great idea, but unfortunately the motor limit is 6. I would recommend a different design that uses a pneumatic adjustable shot mechanism, kind of like a slingshot. A pneumatic piston could lift the whole mechanism and shoot high and low.
I don’t know if you’ve seen but VexVelocity has a good video detailing the chu chu mechanism application I’m suggesting over on his channel. It’ll free up a motor from the adjuster and I trust it more than I do the adjuster. I fear that if the motor fails mid match it’ll be game over.
I noticed that the robot only drives with two wheels which is very inefficient and wobbly. You should motorize those wheels and maybe add another one for strafing.
Hey great mods I was wondering about the rubber band tightener do you have some kind of catch to stop the band from tightening to much thanks keep the good work up
I don't exactly know what you mean... you can adjust how much the motor turns in VexCode IQ. If your motor is not set on hold, you can fix that in code too.
love how so many people went to youtuber make me feel so happy : ]

this video caused my entire state to be swish mods 💀 good job tho
You should raise the intake it will make it more efficient
that is also what i would do. the build instructions are for the 2nd gen super kit and they don't include big sprockets but good idea.
@@Vexguy2it doesn’t need bigger sprockets make your intake higher off the ground
@@Vexguy1 yeh i guess that would work 2.
@Vexguy1 how do you have so many subs i only have 12
I’ve posted since full volume so I have more videos than you
