I really wish I could find this format of screwdriver (as in: an all metal body, swivel cap, takes 1/4" bits, and relatively short) in a more affordable version. For whatever reason they only really exist as a luxury thing, it seems weird that there's no Chinese factory making steel or aluminum ones for a reasonable price. The closest I've found is the CountyComm Titanium Precision Screwdriver, and in comparison its a fantastic deal at $35, its still a bit much for me.
Chinese? Nanch. At about or less than your $35 you get a very good set of bits (several sizes of sets), and a telescoping handle that locks in a couple lengths. A2 bits, aluminum handle. Sure, there are fancier sets, but Nanch makes solid screwdrivers that will fit most people's work needs.
@@beaurex4756 I remember seeing the CRKT driver when it was first announced, but I thought it was only available with the leather case and bit set, that's good to know you can get it separately. I already have plenty of Wiha bits, that's a part of why I've been looking for a nice driver that takes full size 1/4" ones instead of 4mm, I might have to pick up the CRKT one.
These are awesome. Been on their waiting list for a little while. People are willing to spend $500 on a knife without question, why not a premium driver for $100?
I understand your skepticism but they come with a certificate of legitness with a wax seal that says they are legit af. Remember screwing is both caring and believing.
What the hell is with those bits? I mean, the tools are fine if that's something you want, good machining and all, but that bit set makes it clear that not only do they not get what modern knife/edc enthusiasts might need, they don't even understand what a precision screwdriver is supposed to do.
That Ultimanium driver is 200 bucks on their site. Considering that Tactile charges a hundred bucks just for a ti damascus clip and knob, these don't seem like a bad deal these days. I like the thickness of these.
I was really looking to splurge and purchase the Get Good Skrew driver set until I realized the $125 listed was only for the driver, and the holder (which is sold separately) was another $150. $275 for a fidgety bit driver set? I don't think so! Guess I'll have to spend my money on a nice knife... 🙂
No offense to the makers, or enjoyers of such items....But for me, this falls into the same category as a gold plated toilet. Not EVERYTHING needs to be decorated and pretty.
I've been trying to get my hands on one of the timascus screwdrivers from Goodskrew for awhile now but everytime I go to their website all of the screwdrivers are sold out. got tired of trying so ended up buying a Steve Kelly zirc screwdriver with the zircu-ti ball. granted the Steve Kelly zirc driver costs me more than twice the price of these Goodskrew screwdrivers but it's whatever. as I said I got tired of trying so once I saw the Steve Kelly one in stock I jumped on it. Lmfao
G'day Nick, makes me wonder when the ti-mascus spanners, pliers, hammers etc. will be released. They might not necessarily drive screws, but at least you'll feel more than a bit, (set), well skrewed. Cheers Duke.
Umm - so what makes these 'high-end'? It appears to be gaudy, un-ergonomic Aliexpress stuff...for which they are asking $100? LOL. Here are some actual high-end drivers: Nepros, PBSwiss, Wiha, Stahlwille, Gedore
I’ve been meaning to ask you about a good screw, recently. We all need a good screw every now and then imho. Might be good for the system as long as we’re doing it in a healthy, and respectfully mutual way. Looks some of us get more than one good screw, and start out their Sunday with a video about both. The internet has gotten so risqué since the pandemic. Don’t get banned showing off your good screws. I am definitely going to get one tbh, so I do appreciate the risqué share. These are gorgeous. Sorry to get kinda intimate there with ya Nick 😂👊🏼🤙🏼😁. I like the idea of not taking this too seriously, and it will be my most serious bit driver I have. Kind of cool - like naming a Ferrari “sprinkles.” Just hits differently.
Oh no! Looks like some one dropped your tools into an oil slick. That's ok, just use some dish soap and baking soda and a bit of elbow grease and it'll come off. 😄
Hi, I really enjoy youre content. Smart, funny amd precise. Still I kinda have a moral question for you and I kinda hope youre going to make a stand. Dont worry if you miss this question. I will ask the same question till I get an answer. Here it goes, what is youre stand on war in Ukraine? Are you willing to boycot Russian and Chinese knives/gear in order to help Ukraine people to stop the war? I know this makes youre job harder but youre free of guilt and youre subscribers kinda expect you to stand up and say out loud that youre against tyranny and war. Thanks and sorry.
“This is gonna be a quick review” continues to talk about screwdrivers for 20 minutes lol
The world’s leading reviewer of high end screwdrivers.
Just snagged one of these on the restock , very excited to receive it
I'm glad these exist. I'm always looking for a good screw.
Skrew*
@@WalnutSkrimp damn, I thought I spelled it incorrectly.

CRKT sells a solid brass version for about $20, without bits. WIHA sells a bit set for $10.
Chinese? Nanch.

My ifixit kit drivers seem decent
@@beaurex4756you can even get it in a set with Wiha bits and a nice leather tool roll.

"My fingers naturally want to be here."
They look like some sort of rifle grenade from Warham Warhammer 40K.
HIgh. End. Screwdrivers.
OK, that's enough internet for me today, LMAO.
I understand your skepticism but they come with a certificate of legitness with a wax seal that says they are legit af. Remember screwing is both caring and believing.
The back spinner is so large that, at first glance, I thought it held a set of bits.
That's what I thought too. Would've made sense to do, in my opinion
Yeah, they are too big!
MK2 Bit Drivers are much more handy, and they store 3 bits in the shaft.
Seems like it’s one of those things where if you look at the thing, look at the price, and you still want it, then you’ll like it.
Nanch stuff on Amazon is just the best I’ve used overall. I wish the tips were a bit tougher but they are cheap.
Appreciate the great review, will definitely purchase real soon.
Take care from Montréal, Québec
Thank you for reviewing these.

The pi with a dot seems like a stylized Ti for titanium, perhaps?
Where can you get that Polish Custom screwdriver?
Through Polish Custom Knives

Huh, price hike.
@@NickShabazz Shabazz tax 😂
You could tell at first glance that the frag tops were slick
They should make a Mini Driver and get the actress of same to endorse it. Or not.
Can basically get these off of aliexpress (same pi logo on them). Beautiful for sure. But those bits really do scream trying to make a quick buck.
Anybody remember the name of the guy that made one of these on a lathe
Wish you could store bits in it some how. Who wants to take multiple components on the go??? Missed opportunity here I believe.
Hi! They don’t have to sizes, not anymore!! I don’t understand why, only small ones!! It so sad!!
Those look so sweet!
"π with a dot" I think is a clumsily-designed "Ti"
So, you're paying how much for junk bits?

3:14 The next minute of content got me good.
I think that's just a stylized T. i. for titanium
Haha I love how you skrutinized this with a k. Love the reviews!
Those driver bits are the kind you use in an impact driver. There's no reason to ship them with these drivers.
There's no reason for these screwdrivers at all lol.
You should Review a axe
I Stick to the CRKT 9910
quick review... 20min laters still talking about a screwdriver.
God this guy's motor won't stop!!!
nice set!

Totally agree
It’s crazy what people will spend their hard earned dollars on… I’ve bought 2 of these lol
This is something that a zombie apocalypse obsessed IT guy would buy.
good looking screwdrivers but i cant see spending over 100 for something a $15 multibit can do
Such lovely hands for a knife guy 😂😂😂
I mean it's all you need right?

Very nice but I think I'm over the neo-psych anodizing.
150$ is actually a pretty good price for such a chunk of mokuti
DON’T GET INTO SCREWDRIVERS !

I’ll stick to my wiha bit holders I just can’t wrap my head around fancy screwdrivers. I would rather buy a new knife with the money lol.

A Snap-on ratcheting screw driver is about $90. So maybe the cost i for some of the dri ers isn't so bad?
Snap-On is a notorious rip-off that builds financing costs into their retail prices.
"150 is expensive for a screwdriver "... You've clearly never tried to buy from snap-on. =D
Well I’m not buying a screwdriver from a 12-year-old edgelord

I don't have any "high-end" skrewing to do... so I'll pass on these.
Came here for the entertainment, not the goodskrew!
The bits are a joke, not only for the price but it totally drops the value of the product
Probably Instagram store, Probably not usa made but cool video anyway 👍
I went with CRKT 6 bit Doorknob driver same size as WIHA stub for $30 and waaay more torque than this overpriced driver.
for the price... I'LL PASS!! made in chayna.
A toy for people with more money than sense.
