Are the red and black cable below the speedometer panel the cables that lead current to the fan? I believe that in some cases it is better to find a way to provide current to the fan without passing via the resistences. They are going to fail again, and also their connector is flimsy and undersized. In my opinion a simple button that controls a bistable relay that powers the fan is preferable.
@@jochenb.6000 I have applied the repair using the on-off relay, finally. It is true that the comfort with 3 speeds was better, but now I have back winter heating, that I had not had for years. I had already repaired once the heating with the fan speed selector and the resistors replacement with a cost of about 300€ and the fault came back again few months later. I believe that the entire section of speed selector, resistors and fan connector suffers of poor design. The whole group is very close to the warm water tubings and the temperature there gets too high. The external relay gives only one speed but it bypasses the design problems forever. Now the issue will be the thermal fuse of the fan and the fan duration itself. I want to thank you for your video, that drove me in the operations. I saw there where to find the fan black and red wires. Then I discovered that in the glove box there is a removable door and putting the hand there I could touch the fan and its wires, so it was straightforward to let the wires get into the glove box and to put the relay there without dismantling all the dashboard. Ist ein ganz ordinäres Rechtgewinde , also genau wie jede andere Schraube auch . Könnte möglich sein , das jemand an die Schrauben Schraubensicherung dran gemacht hat , also vorsichtig lösen und immer wieder mal ein Stück zurück drehen und weiter herausschrauben Gruß Jochen
Wo sitzt der Widerstand genau unter dem kunstoff beim lenkrad oder hinter der mittleren Konsole?! Ist leider nicht gut zu sehen...muss leider auch ran! 😢
Links oberhalb der Lenksäule . Also links an der Lenksäule mit einem Auge vorbeischielen , dann kann man ihn erkennen . Ist mit 2 kleinen Schräubchen befestigt
Wenn der Gebläsemotor direkt auf höchste Leistung geht sobald die Zündung an ist, liegt der Fehler beim Widerstand oder könnte es doch der Schalter sein?

It's true, but such a resistor increases the comfort of an adjustable fan enormously

Hallo Jochen, ist es sinnvoll die Batterie abzuklemmen um einer Diskussion mit dem Airbag aus dem Weg zu gehen?
Wäre normalerweise der richtige Weg , kannst aber auch die Sicherung ziehen

Wenn du die ersten Stufen am Schalter schaltest und der Lüfter läuft erst bei Stufe 4 , ist es meist der Vorwiderstand
