I think this album is again unique and that kept their identity with elements of pink Floyd and anathema!! Perfect album once again
I deeply respect them and I saw them live in Greece about 5-6 years ago !! Promoting their best album (for me) alpha Noir

Always Delving into new territory, Excellent band been listening to since Wolfheart. They meld several different Styles of traditional Heavy metal, goth/doom, progressive, thrash death and black metal. This album is another great one from Moonspell.
The main crawling riff on Apophthegmata blows my mind. Amazing album. Been a fan since Wolfheart. 26 years later all i can say is that this album is a great surprise. Love from Greece.

un maravilloso album, este tiene un toque especial , milimetricamente técnico, hay que masticarlo muy bien para captarle el sabor magíco que tiene, un chico de primerazo que lo escuche no lo va a tomar como debe ser , todavía me falta estudiar la letra que sin duda debe ser excelente .
Moonspell nos a dado una buena evolusión sin dejar su toque de oscuridad, mistisismo y su admiración por el abismo y siempre lunático y admosférico .
Moonspell siempre estará dentro de mis preferidas.

This is very beautiful. I listen to other albums by Moonspell, but nothing was better than Wolfheart and Irreligious. Now finally I ear something new and very passionate. I can hear also so much contaminations like Anathema, Tiamat, Pink Floyd...I really like this!

This is Nothing like Night Eternal from 2008 still enjoyed this album just different more experimentation. Can't believe I missed this album i been a Moon spell fan for a very long time.

Great record. Totally different from the last one in every aspect, but this is the great thing about this band: They always come up with new ideas and sound different on every album, yet it still always sounds like Moonspell.
I think thats what makes being a Moonspell fan so much fun, they always keep you guessing and evolve then devolve at a whim. And its ALL metal, some death, thrash and some goth amd some black but ALL metal.

Abosolute great words, I haven't lissened Moonspell after Antidote album, but now they are releasing old on vinyl, so I had to try this new one in YT. Not bad really good different but this ain't Irreligious or Sin Pecado, well there is so much memories also so new ones can't ever compete the old ones...=)

Да, звучит прекрасно. Но, единственная стоящая вещь на альбоме, это кавер. То, что они сейчас играют, слушать невыносимо. То ли дело их раннее творчество
@@thetruevit732 какое именно? группа постоянно экспериментирует со звуком и чередует лиричные и агрессивные альбомы, поэтому тут необходимо уточнить где именно "раньше было лучше".

Альбом хоть и средний,но это средний для Moonspell недостижим для большинства групп. Да,это не Wolfheart и даже не Memorial,но это выход к настоящей музыке,а то они в последнее время херню делали

По мне так классный альбом. Психоделический весьма.
А самый отвратный у них это Инстинкт имхо. Вот уж попсня голимая. А этот вполне себе ничего. Некоторые моменты прямо сказать захватывают. Возвращение к истокам, так сказать.

At first hearing I wasn't sure what to make of it, very different from most of their albums, but in my second hearing gotta say i really enjoyed it, very unique.

Being a Moonspell collector through over 20 years, I needed to hear this through, even though the singles didn’t really cut it for me. I must say, it’s a decent album, but it is very far from the Moonspell that I know and hold in rather high esteem. I respect that when you are an artist sometimes you need to tread new ground, to evolve your expression. A hard working band, indeed 🤘🏻
But we dont live in the normal time..so!

Erstes Konzert: Moonspell. Ältere Freunde hatten mich dazu "verleitet". Übte immer eine gewisse Magie auf mich aus. Aber nicht so romantisiert wie die meisten schönen Erinnerungen aus der Vergangenheit, auch heute noch qualitativ und interessant. Komme gerne darauf zurück :)
Since Moonspell as a collective are all more or less disciples of good old Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, all Germanic praise is welcome.

Acrescentar que esta banda esta ao nivel de todas e apenas as melhores, não existem muitas bandas com esta qualidade, não posso de repetir a QUALIDADE, Nivel maximo de som HEAVY METAL. Moon spell só olha para trás com orgulho e para ver as outras bandas em qualidade, porque demonstram que futuro !! tem muito pouco a nivel musical para atingir, talvez apenas reconhecimento merecido ao nivel das melhores bandas do mundo. não vejo que mais, para estes tipos, são excelentes.

The more I listen to this the more I like it. First album after "Wolfheart" which I really, really like. Just go on like this Moonspell. Fuck the haters. They are not able to understand good music, I think ;) My favourites are "All or nothing" with that great instrumental part in the middle and "The greater good" has some catchy riffs/melodies and is perhaps Moonspells best Album-Opener. I think LIVE this song (the whole album!) kills!
Please give a chance also to Alpha Noir / Omega White and Extinct albums. Both are very high on my list.:)

Metal verdadeiro à antiga, bem tocado, aliás excelente secção ritmica, o vocalista completamente lá, e a qualidade do som, tecnico, criativo e tudo o que um bom metal precisa. Sinceramente não são musicas que aprecio em demasia ou que me encham as mediddas, mas a qualidade de som, tecnica, friso QUALIDADE de musicos, faz com que ouça e gosto muito. QUALIDADE !!!!

You are right. I can also hear some Katatonia vibes... This is the first Moonspell Album for real music lovers. You must have that special kind of "understanding" to get really deep into this one.
@@martinsprenz2872 Naa not really, I've seen several others make a similar comment. It's actually kind of obvious when you think about it, Moonspell always has had that kind of psychedelic groove even from their earlier days. Similar with Katatonia, they have developed from a doomish back metal to a more psychedelic and progressive sound. I was just listening to some newer Katatonia songs a few hours ago actually.
As for Moonspell, nothing will ever beat "Wolfheart" in terms of the influence it has had on my musical repertoire. I only wish I knew where my copy of the album is, I would be listening to it almost everyday.
Portuguese pride
To me, sometimes sounds a lot Anathema from the A fine day to exit time. But maybe is the fact that both records have a lot of Pink Floyd influences.
I definitely had the same thought after the first 3 seconds of the opening track, it's got more of an 80s PF vibe in my opinion. I love all floyd eras though so I'm not hating on it at all.

Didn't know these guys still existed, haven't listened to them for what seems like 30 years. This is awesome.
I hear Moonspell from the very beginning. It has been an amazing journey until now. My daily routine isn't complete without hear, as least, one single track of their absolute enchantment e amazing sound and lyrics. For sure, Moospell is one of the best gothic/doom metal of the planet. You have to recover those 30 years lost as soon as possible, for your own sake and total joy. Cheers, mate!
