I believe it's thr ltr in this video but it was only because the ctrl2 needed revisions to work with the geo. I think I was having issues with my ltr breaking paint a lot more than it should. Possibly defective or something. I wouldnt be the best to offer advice on the LTR. The ctrl2 is flawless though I will say that. I havent breach broken or hopper broken a ball in 40k shots with ctrl2 geo combo
hey! I was wondering if you could tell me the name of your gun with tank ? been looking into playing paintball competitively again but I need new equipment, Amazing vid!
hey bub, i just returned to paintball this year myself as well after a 20 year break! welcome back!! my gun is a planet eclipse geo R5. if youre looking to get started cheaper i recommend a planet eclipse 170R. my tank is a Ninja Lite. and my hopper is a Bunkerkings CTRL2 with geo R5 upgrades. if youre in NJ and hit the field one day you can try mine out and all. if you have any other questions let me know!
I love this thing! Only problem is i just bought a ctrl2 and its glitchy on the r5. Supposedly they have a fix coming out today or tomorrow for it though. This colorway grew on me quick now i love it. I was gonna do pewter and ice blue originAlly. I have about 6000 through it so far. All I did so far was a regreasing after 1000 shots. Noticed Bolt had hair and sand in it somehow so I just stripped it all down and ran grease a lil heavy because i have brass sfr all the way negative.. R5 put in some serious work though for sure. 😊
@@killerballs haha thanks for the reply. Glad you're loving it too! I haven't noticed any issues with my spire v with it but I know it's a thing lol wish me luck on my first bolt cleaning - I'm coming from the easy life of an lv2 😂
I am not trying to drop money on a hopper so really hoping they have a full fix coming out. ahh first time, you got this bruh. after 3 times its a 10 min job not even trying. i would recommend instead of applying grease directly to the orings that slide on inside of other shafts like the bolt and inside of the back of the bolt., put dabs of grease on a qtip or small paintbrush and brush the insides of the shaft areas instead that way the grease isnt all caked up around the oring so much and its already evenly applied. qtip is a lil more wasteful because the cotton absorbs a bit of grease when its a new qtip. i have a 170r and i traded my cs3 for the geo and 450 on top so this kind of maint is normal for me. its gravy though. you got this!!
@@Sunflash1001 yeah pretty much thats the idea. still rub a thin layer on the orings but you can go a little heavier on the insides if youre going to do minimal maintenance. if you plan on greasing every couple cases you only need a nice thin layer. too much grease it will make its way into the chamber
Never would i have thought id see another billiard player playing paintball as well 😂. How do you like the r5 compared to the cs3? Ive tried a cs2 and was unimpressed i was really amazed at my buddies geo 3.5 but he let it go for a geo 4 and honestly it did not shoot as well.
Lmao!! I have been shooting billiards since i was 6. Billiards is fun but its a farther drive for me to play on 9ft tables than paintball. And im on the spectrum so when i go play i play 6-12 hours nonstop which gets to be even more expensive than paintball for a day. I never shot a cs2 but the cs3 was nice however I think value wise a 170r is a much better bargain. I expected the cs3 to shoot how the geo shoots when I got it. Realized it wasn't as smooth as I expected so 2 weeks later I traded for the new geo. I am in love with this marker. Are you local to NJ? If we see each other at the field you can run my geo for a couple games for sure!.
I appreciate the thought but i am in cali haha. You might know a buddy of mine he is in NJ as well. I’d love to chat with you about pool and paintball if you have facebook
@Kenpachi24 for sure man. Love to make friends that enjoy similar hobbies. If you seach "killer billiards live stream" on fb you may find me. I'll message you on personal account once I see your message. If your buddy plays at OTP. Gears up. Or LLP I more than likely know them. Lol.
@@Kenpachi24 Hey bud i tried finding you on FB by your name on youtube but theres a lot of you apparently lol. hit me up though i was looking for your message.
Actually its the x2. I bought it the day before the x3 was released go figure.. lol. I am putting an insta360 ace on the barrel going forward though. So I'll have the 3rd person behind view and then a barrel cam zoomed in for better quality. If you need any setup tips let me know. I'll show the mount and camera angle.
@killerballs yea. I understand holding the zone it's just always crazy to me some guys go through pods on 1 zone and never hit anyone. General statement
@TheOnlyRealSaint I understand the mentality for sure. At normal prices it would be a bit rough on the pockets. Luckily when you play on a team it gets pretty cheap in comparison to recreational play. There's days i play for free as i just have so much left over paint. When we play nxl cases of good paint are 20$. My last vid i shoot a few pods holding lanes getting no kills bit then I get all 3 kills in a 1v3 with 6 seconds left without shooting an entire hopper from the time it turned 1v3. Lol.
@@killerballs you right lol its all going to vary and depend what player/style. I just got back into the game after 10yr break this week at a local field here in NJ and just picked up a 180r for a steal around 700
Thanks I do that so I don't accidentally fire shots into my barrel bag it's easier than battery power and quicker if I forget air during 10 second count down it's quicker to engage than turning gun back on.
lol. sorry to confuse! its on the top of my mask hanging in a 45* in front of my mask. now i have a barrel cam too so you can see what im shooting at much better. if you look at my shadow you can see how the mask is setup. if you want any info on setup i can show you what to get/do.
@@jarrodlandahl4979 Thanks I really appreciate the feedback, it helps me a lot! 360 cams really help capture all the action but when zooming in the quality gets poor quickly so a barrel cam really helps see the action a lot more. let me know if you check out one of the newer vids what you think works better. I appreciate any feedback! =D
what hopper are you using. is it the ltr? if so are you using flow feed or stock components cause im debating getting the flow feed

love the color scheme on the geo!!
Thanks man! I was going to go for the pewter ice blue originally but when I saw how much that matched my jersey numbers I realized it was fate. Lmao

this was at On Target in NJ but EPL has moved to a newer and nicer speedball location for next season
