Snoop seems like a straight shooter, I wouldn't think he was lying. That being said, anyone who is a bada**, but also really humble, like Nas, isn't going to come out and be like: "Yeah, I put him in his place," esspecially when talking about a Legend like Tupac. I see there being "some" truth to both sides. I don't think either side was telling the full story, but I don't think either side was completely lying either. I base the truth somewhere in the middle.
Snoop may have been a shooter in his younger days, being young & dumb & around real shooters & all that, but once that fame & money open other doors for him I think he sold out to say & do anything to maintain the accolades of being rich & famous & perceived as cool by the majority- a status not granted to those who sincerely keep it real across the board at all times. Those types are silenced rather quickly by the industry & media, be it by scandal or mysteriously entangled in something that leads to their murder or "assisted" suicide. Snoop has been recruited & inducted into the elite society now, he can't be trusted, they use his types because of their status knowing people blindly worship them to push agendas not in their favor.

Ppl don’t realize how much Jungle (Nas’ brother) was really in the streets and would’ve took somebody head off for Nas. If Nas gave the ok, QB would’ve gotten busy! At the end of the day it was just a ego thing and Nas was always a thinker, so there it is! Pac was young and hot headed and I wished he would’ve gotten the chance to grow out of it.
Totally agree. I feel Nas truthfully down played the story, plus it is a really old story. Snoop told the truth too with a little embellishment. Back then they were young men of their 20's. PAC was burnt & turnt anybody could get it if they wanted it! Although Nas is a thinker, his attitude was much like, ain't no issue but it could be what ever.. Jungle wasn't gonna have that.. he is his brothers keeper. Much like Black Sam & Nip.
Nas and Pac could of collaborated together in songs that could of made multiples hits throughout their entire career. Peace ✌️ and love ❤️ you the both of em during that era time.

They stepped to each other like brothers but according to snoop they stepped to each other like gangsters which is not true, snoop was trying to make it seem like 2Pac was being a coward when he wasn’t and even the Outlawz confirmed there version and said they both stepped to each other like brothers just like Nas explained
I mean the version of the story that Nas told on VH1’s behind the music actually alligns with what Snoop Dogg said. Him and a bunch of his goons were all surrounding them and some of his goons were itching to pull their guns. Nas did tell a story very eerily similar to snoop’s before, just saying😂
I’m kind of thinking that both of their stories are probably true. Nas left some spaces open where Snoop story may intersect with his. After all, he did say there was a misunderstanding between him and Pac. They’re telling it from their individual perspective.
exactly. i think snoop may have added some spicy spicy to it bcs of his emotions at that moment and probably to make it more interesting, but the plot checks out
@@jackjill8129 Pac had a bunch from New Jersey with him. Outlawz, Stretch and Treach peoples. 30ish people I have heard. New Yorks group was a lot deeper though.

Damn. Shit like this just really makes me appreciate him even more than I always have. Respect to Nas. He deserves his flowers while he’s still here and he is for sure top 5 DOA.
Someone once said, "The ones who last in this business are the ones who stay low-key." Nas stayed low-key, Tupac, on the other hand, lived in the fast lane. I remember when he died and I bought his single "Changes". Rest in peace Tupac Shakur.
If Pac was alive here, hearing all these stories about him, and I'm sure their exaggerated just to make themselves shine some more on the spotlight. He'd have a diss track exposing all these snakes lol
Nas and Pac are the greatest. They were both so influential. I love so many others especially from new York but nothing compares. They literally told guys to 'keep ya head up' and Nas keeping it 110. I love it. Tupac died two months into being 2&. Nas realeasd Illmatic at 21 and we reference it. Life is short.
nas loved 2pac you can tell he respected pac and loves his music he's done tunes with pac after his passing even 2pac enemies loved his music he was special
I think there's some truth to what snoop said but some exaggerations as well. He might of smoked lil to much and the situation seemed alot more tense than it actually was. Nas probably stepped to Pac with his security with who were probably strapped, Nas was likely trying to squash the beef while Pac took it as Nas trying to intimidate him and responded with that "thug life" energy telling Nas that he disses him in the Makaveli album and for Nas to lay down and take it if he doesn't want beef. Nas being the humble stand up guy he is just kept his cool and told Pac it's all love as he didn't want to escalate the situation. After he left Pac probably felt proud of himself and said some shit to snoop like "nas a punk, he scared to diss me back" and meanwhile Snoop high af and paranoid thinking they almost got done in that night.
That don't sound like a bad guess, I think Snoop could even be mixing up his stories he is a gangsta and this is a gangster like situation. And i'm sure there's been times where he went to meet someone and perhaps was surrounded.
Hahahahahaha...PACs guys would have created world war three with them 150 plus dudes ,all strapped to the chin. Nas had like 10 people with him max. Lol. They were all waiting for a signal from PAC...westttttside...lol anything. And they would have blasted them Fools. But PAC cooled them off ..saying ,be cool now soldiers. Please I'm here to talk not cause a massacre.
This is facts. A lot of the younger generation doesn't know it but Nas was a King during that era. Same as Pac, Biggie, and Snoop were Kings. Just how it was at the time.
Ameen brother! Snoop told 2 different stories he said pac got punked in one story, thats the clip I thought they were talking about them it shows a story where he says nas got punked. I love the clip of versus where dmx is just watching in disgust as snoop just dancing in his tight ass outfit looking like a str8 bozo no where near general status
Snoop low key, along with many death row artists were envious of pac. A new guy came in shook up the label making bangers and getting all the attention from suge. As a friend you wouldn’t try to tarnish a Homies reputation & character if you had nothing good to say you wouldn’t say anything due to respect. Snoop always got some slick shit to say about pac. We know the truth.
Nas didn’t refute anything Snoop said other than the tone of the conversation. I do think it’s funny that he said they planned to “squash it” in Vegas. 🤔
I’m sure he did too . But it wasn’t for snoop to do all that but then again Nas is a chill dude . I’m sure it’s a mixture of both but Nas did say he was tellin him it wasn’t about him etc so it’s a good possibility they both turned up on each other
The Outlawz did back up Snoop’s version a bit. They said Nas came with a bunch of dudes, maybe not 100, but a bunch. But the conversation they said was more like Nas, they talked it out and came to an understanding. Pac at the end did tell Nas if Nas is for real about them hashing it out, then don’t respond to Makaveli. But the Outlawz did back up Nas’s account of the conversion. The Outlawz also said after the conversion it was a HUGE feeling of relief. They also respect Nas way more because he actually met with them to squash the beef, 100 goons or not... lol

Nas already told the story.
@@MrPreachx he literally says both sides dummy

Something like that lol
Only one problem… Snoop wasn’t there I believe that part 100%
