  • Here's a video containing a mixture of over 30 minutes of footage filmed in May and June 2022, along the currently restored 1.5 mile section of mothballed track of the former 30 mile Oswestry and Newtown Railway, from Oswestry to Weston Wharf which had only recently opened on April 2nd of the same year. The line aims to eventually restore an addition 6.5 miles of the former mothballed route, Southwards from Weston Wharf to Blodwell and Northwards from Oswestry to the main rail network in Gobowen, eventually creating 8 miles of heritage railway. Enjoy.
NOTE: I had to put a black fade effect at 01:58 to fade out the face of a children to avoid any issues. I also apologise for some camera shaking and wind howling effects in some parts of the video.
