HaHa, that was awesome. Nice recovery once he got your scent. I thought you were @ full draw when he came up on you and was expecting the shot before he busted out. So that's Hoyt with 2 Swampers I seen this year. Beats Danny and Mark ? Great job hanging in to get that first shot.
He’s the only one shooting a Hoyt. He didn’t catch his scent either. I think the camera moving create a flash in the glare of the sun. The struggles of filming a hunt! He definitely kept it together and made it count though! -Mark
Yeah it was either slight movement of the camera or a glare as mark said. And I’m the only one shooting a Hoyt. Interestingly I shot that buck unknowingly with a split limb on my bow from the bike crash day before
@@jmenor4116 If you bought it new, Hoyt more than likely will warranty it. Problem is our Hoyt dealers are scattered down here and not sure the clout they carry ? That a Charger or Nitrux ?
Daaaamn. That Montec did a number on him!!! Please can you tell me you arrow setup? Arrow nerd in me has to ask lol. Top, top video. thanks for sharing mate.
I believe he is shooting victory VAP SS with 50 grain insert and 100 grain head. Total weight of approx 500 grains. Thanks for watching. Don’t forget to subscribe! - Mark
I’m shooting vap ss arrows I think I’m right around 510 g with inserts and my 100 g g5 megameat. I still shoot expandable. I probably will continue to shoot these until they fail me… I don’t like change and they have been working even when my shots haven’t been perfect.
@@jmenor4116 I always think 500g to 530g is a sweet spot. So your right in the pocket. I dont use expendables but if i did it would be for sure the Montec ones. They seem to work for a lot people. I use the Montec G5 for most my compound hunting and the Jager 200g on my trad bow. I killed a huge cpw elk in Canada a couple years ago with that head. Thanks for the info mate. The arrow nerd in me is satisfied and very impressed lololol.
I got one at academy sports but the wheels aren’t as wide as this one. Definitely a life saver. I wheeled my buck out over a mile last season and didn’t even have to stop for a breather
Great hunting, and commentary as always.
Congrats nice buck !
Awesome hunt
Nice buck . Good follow up shot right in the pump house 👍. I've spined deer and had to do the same. Good job not letting him suffer long.
Good stuff shaggy getting me hype for this coming season
Nice buck 🦌
Awesome buck. Going to the slough sept 1st
Damn dude I enjoyed that. Good shooting man. Thanks for sharing my brother🤙🏻
Nov 4 it's on. If you know you know.

Promoting a camo only to cover it up with a mainstream brand?
At the time, we didn’t have warmer options in our camo yet. Now we do! Go check em out 😉
You notice he spotted me without it 😂
In all honesty I was cold and I didn’t have a high pine hoodie at the time
Cold in Florida? Lol , wt was it 65 lows wind chill of 58 ? Lol
