Hey Nolan. My son and I ran our slashes hard in the sand last weekend. He broke the plastic stock servo. I broke the trans on my 2wd and blew the motor plate bearing out of my ultimate. Hot rod parts on order.
I really like my slash 4x4 I have a 2wd slash I’m going to turn into a rally slash , just picked up a very nice rally slash body shell and I’ve just ordered a lcg 2wd chassis so that should be a fun car to drift around , great video keep them coming mate , stay safe and all the best mate .
2nd Cool video Nolan, That Slash 4x4 is a beast i have a Platinum converted VXL and will be building another one from a Stampede 4x4 VXL to have as a spare one. My personal one has a Castle 4s system which i haven't run on 4s yet i'm waiting to get an X-Maxx to get new 4s packs. I might get a similar Castle system to yours in mine my truck has the 2400kv in it and i like the 3200kv better and i might get a Mamba X for mine.
@@RCKnockout No problem, it is really fun and powerful both of mine will be pretty fast when i'm done with them. I will have both the LCG and HCG versions one will be Castle powered the other one will be Hobbywing.
Hi Nolan What motor and speed control could you recommend for riding in the dunes? I need something for rough use. What combo do you use? My Valineon 3500 engine gets very hot and I have it with 2 fans. I need an effective combo. thanks for helping
I recommend the 1412 castle (3200kv) motor with the Castle Copperhead 10 Esc….I run a different system now…but the new system I’m running is a bit overkill
