For all people wondering what my stats are: - 60 vigor - 30 mind - 20 endurance - 10 strength - 20 dexterity - 90 intelligence - 10 faitg - 7 arcana I am level 180 (keep in mind that the starting stats don't count as levels) I am at ng+2
There is no such thing as a 'cheese' for this boss, he is just to fast, strong, has too much hp, and does too much damage. This is the closest you can get to a cheese.
This boss is tougher than malenia.. He just kills my character in two shots. Whenever I enter inside fog gate, he kills my player with fire breath.. If it somehow survives, he jumps on my character and kills me before I could do anything... Complete chaos
What i don't understand is how you didn't get any of his aggro and your mimic actually fights. Mine just sits there doing nothing and he aggros me if i sneeze into my controller....
Most Insane Boss in the entire souls series. Even the final boss of the DLC can’t compare to him. He is quite literally the ADHD Malenia of the DlC. The only one that even compares is Darkeater Midir
Midir is a literal walk in the park😅 Midir is super easy once you learn his move set. I have no hit midir several times. I don't think I'll ever no hit Bayle.
His second phase is the most angry I’ve been fighting a boss ever. All this mf does is run away while I swing at air and igon having speech like he’s not doing 300 damage on a good day
Bayle is in my top boss fights ever, I've been playing since their games were named King's Field. I beat the mausoleum knight, the dancing lion, and the twin moon knight on my first try, then things got crazy. It took me 28 to 30 tries to beat Bayle. he walked all over me.
just beat him. instead of using mimic i just used great shield soldier ashes along with igon to keep him agro while i used dragonice and the dragon hunter katana
Mimic and Igon don’t pull aggro at all. They just stand around. I’ve had mimic and other summons just stand around and that’s IF I even get the chance to do it considering dude just charges right at during the animation. Every single time.
I've only played BB and ER. This boss is the most awesome boss I've ever faced. They did great job with the visual effects. I love this bossfight more than any other boss I've ever faced. He's so damn powerful. I was geeking so hard when he caused an explosion and raised his wings and started to blast the arena. Or how he breathes fire flying through the air. 10/10
I couldn’t agree more, he’s gotta be my favorite of the dlc hands down. Also the lore you get from that talisman saying that him and placidusax both fought eachother and that’s why they’re both scarred like AHHHH SO COOL my jaw dropped reading that
Does frost slow him down? Why not just have your mimic tear and yourself spam rivers of blood for cheese? Or is it too difficult for mimic tear to make contact?
Lol this boy took me all day to beat. Was able to do it solo no summons but man it took a lot of attempts to get it there; like I think it was 50-60+, I lost count past 20. I feel like the game wants the player to use the dragon hunting katana for this one tho ngl…the ash of war makes the boss not like easy but doable and you’re able to actually get hits in with locking on to his body and head. Even with the dragon before him (I think it’s named sessex?) he has lightning that goes underneath him whenever he attacks, it’s like the game is telling you “hey, we listened, you wanna see the dragon the whole fight, you get to see the dragon, just use this cool ass sword :)”. Anyways big daddy bayle was really fun once I learned his moveset and if anyone is struggling to beat him, learn the fight using that dragon hunting katana :)

If you had mesmers spear of the impaler with its ashes of war, or the new heavy blood katana that literally throws a shard of blood damage and does tons of damage to every boss and enemy you could have just stayed behind him like you were and wrecked him soooo much faster and easier. You were doing no damage for so long

There is also a cheese method discovered after I made this video where you turn yourself invisible and poison him from the back, if you *really* don't want to fight him you can always resort the this tactic
I think for ng+ 3 you should be above level 200. And the most important thing in this dlc is that the dlc scales with your level, so level doesn't quite matter that much, but I would certainly try to level your Scadutree blessing to at least level 10 that is something that will really make the difference.

Where do we find Igon? I heard his voice after defeating the two dragons battling each other but couldn’t find him. Won’t let me summon mimic and i can’t find IGON summoning sign?
Why my mimic tear is so passive inside the DLC ? It is not usual in original map, my mimic most of time just standing and look at the bosses, so the aggro is always on me😢
I wouldn't call this a cheese though. If it were exploiting the boss's hitbox or move mechanics, sure, but this is just taking advantage of status issues.
In the future don't say cheese if it isn't a cheese because that's just going to piss a lot of people off. You have it easy because your on NG-2 I'm on NG+7 he's not easy at all
When you hear the word cheese you just expect some sort of miraculous method that instantly kills the boss with no effort at all. Though that is possible for some bosses it is not for this one. I am just showing you the easiest way to beat him.

Bayle is an amazing Boss. Used Igon, Mimic, Bloodhound Fang, Flame Grant Me Strength, and Bloodflame Blade. Got him on 3rd attempt.

What level should you be for bayle here are my stats?
Ng 3
Scadutree level 7
Spirit ash level 6
I think for ng+ 3 you should be above level 200. And the most important thing in this dlc is that the dlc scales with your level, so level doesn't quite matter that much, but I would certainly try to level your Scadutree blessing to at least level 10 that is something that will really make the difference.
