Thanks for the video. Million dollar question. How do you use the air conditioner when you are dc fast charging? From what I understand the car shouldn't be in the ready mode when charging. If you put in the accessory mode ( starting without pressing brake) the HVAC will run off the 12V. The low 12v can cause other problems.
You can use partial air con while on accessory mode. It is only full AC motor but just can blow instead I believe. It does drain the 12v battery though and it is not recommended to run it for too long. The vehicle will give you 12v battery low warning if the 12v battery is getting low.
Why is that while your foot is on the brake pedal and the windshield wipers are on, can you feel the movement on the brake pedal as the wipers move? Is this a normal on 2022 plate car.
And the clunky noise when pressing on the break while reversing or moving forward after reverse? The dealer have changed the brake pads and the noise is gone however noise is back after few weeks, anyone know what else it could it be?

Hi, the DC charging rate varies depending on all factors including SOC, temperature and etc. The highest charging rate will mostly be there when the battery is less than 30%. The charge rate will generally drop to 50kw after that percentage.
Hi jerry just wondering if it’s okay to charge the battery a couple times a day? I’m on the road for most of the day and I top up the battery at fast charging stations in the afternoons to keep me going and then I trickle charge to a 100% when I get home so I’m ready to go the next day , also does trickle charging equalise the battery?

Hey Jerry! Do you know how to update the built in Sat Nav? The only maps I've found were for EU not thr ANZ maps
I couldn’t get map updated either. There may not be an update available for NZ yet.

This is unfortunately not available for NZ/ AU / UK spec. The voice control only works through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for phone voice command.
Sorry just realized this is available for UK spec but I don't know how to do it. We don't have this feature for NZ spec.

We have had some squeaky brake noise even from Gen 1 EV. It is related to the material they use. Not much can be done.
I notice you have the sunroof. Is it still available to buy with a sunroof?

The fastest power only kicks in at around 10% to 30%. Once it is over that percentage of charge, the rate will drop back to 50kw ish.

The battery heating is only useful if you are driving in very cold weather before getting to a fast charger. Otherwise, it won't help much.
