really good review thanks. love H-T kit as its bomb proof. Amazed you only carry a 1ltr h20 bottle! Would be good to see a video on your food pouch contents as it looked small for 4 + days. Cheers Stu NZ
G'day Stu. Great bit's of kit H-T make. I have three of their packs now, & this one is my favorite. Very close second is the Matilda. I carry a two liter bladder inside the pack too, forgot to show that. On a day walk out to the shelter and back the one liter is enough. Thanks for your comment. All the best. Clive.
As you , I have the 511 12 and 24 . Strong packs , but I find the 12 to be uncomfortable . I've had my eye on the Bergen for a while , so it was good to watch the you give a detail overview of the pack . I'm up here in north QLD and yep the humidity is a killer starting this time of the year. Cheers.
G'day Barra. Glad my video helped. I have loaded it out with enough gear to last at least 5 days, using my torrid jungle hammock set up. That's food, water, etc. Got gear strapped below, above & still have a small amount of space inside. I look back at my other packs over the years and see how big they had to be. The saying of "the more knowledge you have, the lighter your pack", is so true. Thanks for watching, & crank up the aircon. All the best Clive
Thank you. I have spent the weekend trying out different set ups. Got it packed out for seven day's & still not full. With the ability to strap to the top, bottom & using the webbing, it's a great bit of kit. All the best. Clive
@@B3RNIB0Y Sounds like a great adventure ahead. What do you think about a Facebook group for the channel where subscribers can share their adventures & pictures?
And to think that i was hauling 50 liter backpack for 6 days camping (not hiking, mind you ;) ) . more and more i like this pack :). tnx for honest review, will deff buy this one in near future .
Thank you. Just got got back from four day bushwalk, was meant to be seven days, but my knee went. The pack did well, just that I didn't. All the best. Clive

@@TheClassicalConservative Personally I would go for a second hand pack about 65ltr, cheaper and you wont mind getting it dirty or damaged. Have fun. All the best Clive
Hello thanks for the review I cant find the measurements L W H of the main bag and would like to know if canteen and cup will fit in side pockets if you could let me know that would be a great help THANKS
Hello MT. Thanks for the comment. You have given me a reason to do another video about the HT Bergen. What I will do this week is, I will make a video measuring each built on pouch and the internal storage & put it up next weekend. If you need it before then send me an email and I will measure it and get back to you with the measurements. c.d.p.outdoors.2@gmail.com All the best. Clive
