Okay high key, I literally thought of you yesterday when I saw another terraria video, and was like “wonder if that guy is still youtubing.” So not only remembered you existed, but specifically thought of you right before you uploaded.
Wow, I do not remember classic mode being that easy, although it's been literally years since I last played anything below expert. Now I refuse to believe that classic is the "intended vanilla experience" with how trivial it is
I personally find it to be a solid version of the game. Terraria on higher difficulties requires more mastery of the game itself (obviously), so having classic mode be a little more trivial lets you experiment with stuff a little easier, and learn what works and what doesn’t when you move to higher difficulties, where being more “meta” is generally better. Not having to farm for rare equipment or worry about the proper reforges on your accessories makes for a more casual and enjoyable experience for new players. (I mean, you don’t /have/ to farm in the harder modes but a lot of people choose to) That said, I prefer playing on journey mode because I’m a collectathon addict, and I like hearing the funny noise when I grind up rare items to add to my collection. It makes the braincells go brrrr in a happy way

I love this game! can't wait to start my next playthrough once I finish editing these 60 hour Elden Ring streams into a comprehensive 9 hour video! almost done with day 1 and I simply can't wait for it to end!
I recommend harpy spawn mod all it does is make harpies spawn at surface level and it might not even work so it's pretty good at making early game worse
Playing the drunk world drunk would certainly be fun to watch. I dont know the specifics as I don't make videos, but you likely just have to label your stream somehow, perhaps for adult content or something? I would look in the youtube guidelines and do some google searching just to make sure, but i believe it is allowed, under certain conditions.
