THIS EPISODE HAD NO RIGHT TO MAKE ME CRY AS MUCH AS IT DID and the belchers weren't main characters YET they STILL gave us a really sweet roudise moment?!?! i'm calling it guys this is my favorite ep of the season i'm STILL crying
I liked how low-key this episode felt. It definitely felt more emotional. Rudy in general is such a great character and I love how easily he fits in with the Belcher family. Louise has really grown as a character and I love how she's there for her friends. Plus, I loved hearing Sheryl Lee Ralph
Words can’t explain how I was astonished about this episode. I thought it was gonna be another run of the mill episode but this took a turn! When I first watched this episode last night I was like “okay, rudy is finally getting his spotlight” and as it escalates it shows how hard it is for him to adjust with both of his parents not being with one another and with other people and how he tried so hard to make it through this night but couldn’t do it alone. and I also love how he went to the belchers for comfort and support. This is only the 2nd episode of the new season and I’m already in love!
This episode and the Christmas one with Louise’s poem really changed the way I see this show. I love these types of emotional episodes especially in cartoons
Louise is so cute. Her character developpement is so well done. She has empathy, is there for the one she loves (like with Linda in the previous episode and they even hugged) she no longer is the little psychopath was once was. Plus seeing the view of the restaurant window in the credits where you only see Louise’s little bunny ears in distance. Awwww
Yea, I’ve been thinking about that. That is an episode I want to see. I also like it to have: Comedy Adventure Emotion And many more stuff that’s exciting for a good episode, and a very good ending that it will make you cry.
She's very adorable. This episode made me look up to her a lot. She understood that Rudy ran out of the restaurant because he missed up his magic trick. And the best part is she offered him to walk with her. That was pure, kind and sweet of her.
bob's burgers often does this technique where they'll show a silent conversation between the characters that always ends up being more impactful than anything they could have written
I'm not 100% certain on this; but I think that Rudy has finally gotten over the prissy redhead, and if I'm hopefully correct it started in this very episode. I say this because towards the end right after Louise offered to walk Rudy back to the fancy restaurant plus stay and eat there with him; he immediately perked-up liking the offer and even said something about how Louise could have half his meal, so basically they would be sharing food which sounds a little cute in my opinion. After that in both the episodes ‘Running Down a Gene’ and then ‘Bully-ieve it or Not’; Rudy sits and eats lunch with the Belcher kids during a cafeteria scene in the school, those definitely seem like good signs that he’s becoming interested in Louise if he’s willingly choosing to sit at the same table with her plus her older siblings.
This was probably my favorite episode of Bobs Burgers to date, seeing Lynn peek out the window as Rudy and Louise walk away tugged on all the right strings, truly hesrt warming.
Again BB has me all up in the feels. It's so easy to love Rudy...he's really part of the family... When Gene referred to him as "My Brother" I'm choking up and thinking "What is this show" and every time I hear "And I'm Kate Bush" I laugh. Feeling like an extra wheel Rudy didn't know who he was at the table but Louise put the setting back into balance. Louise understands.
Rudy and Louise’s friendship is so freaking cute. This song playing at the end hit me in the face. Also they look so little sitting there at the table, and the way Rudy’s parents both wave to Louise, so cute 😭😭
@@billyrewko4959agreed! I think there was an episode where Louise mentioned they rode bikes behind Rudy’s mom’s house, there must be plenty of moments in their friendship that we never even see.
I haven’t seen this episode yet, but it looks like Rudy’s mom finally makes her appearance. Maybe this episode is about Rudy coping with his mom having a boyfriend(or new husband) and is now coping with the fact his parents will probably never get back together again? Bob’s burgers, you never stop amazing me. Although you keep making this into the Louise show more and more instead of being about the Belcher family.
Love the show, especially the songs, both original and the referenced. The last episode, the amazing Rudy, I picked up looking for love by Johnny Lee, Islands in the stream by Dolly Parton & Kenny Roger's. Oh....don't forget the end credits song , why don't you lead me to love by the one and only Stevie Wonder. Love it, love it!
Loved this episode, honestly this show rarely displays touchy subjects like this which I don’t mind, fun to watch either way. But to be honest, this should’ve been aired for the season premiere
It was a Rudy episode. And I loved it. It was calm, tense, and had an emotion I can't quite put into words. Season 14 is off to a good start. But I hope there are more goofy episodes. P.S. Is it just me, or Bob's character has been watered down even more that he's timid, indecisive, and fails to make and impression?
When got to this point, I just had to yell out "Fuck" to keep from sobbing. What is going on?! Bob's Burgers has always given us great content--but this?! This emotional depth? This...tenderness? OMG--AND THE SONG IS BY STEVIE WONDER! Do you know how much digging had to happen to find *this song?! It's a deep cut. Whew 10/10 My favorite episode to date. Also, I don't like Vicki. Also also, Sheryl Lee Ralph's cameo was amazing!
This is top 3 best bobs burgers episodes of all time for me seeing what Rudy goes through on a weekly basis and helping keep his dad together for his date along with seeing his mom then messing up his magic trick god I felt for him! Louise deciding to walk Rudy back to the restaurant seeing her friend upset was so touching 10/10 episode!!
Rudy took Louise on a date! Way to go Rudy!!! I bet when Rudy marries Louise in the future, he’ll make a commitment to never leave her, nor their kids.
Futurama is back, rick and morty is dead. Looks like Bob burgers team are swinging pretty hard. What a gem of a tune. Crazy even Stevie fans did not know of this number.
I love how Louise helped Rudy out in this episode. She was really sweet here
Wow that episode hit my in the feels. Gosh it was really great. Rudy’s such a sweet little dude and Louise is such a sweet little girl
Agreed
Sweet? Eh. More of a spicy chili you grow to love as you get used to it.
were i can see the show?

Louise and Rudy are going to be best friends for life
Don’t cry Tina. Your sister’s growing up. No longer she will slap your face for manipulation
So happy so see my fav bobs burgers creator here and having enjoyed the episode as much as I did!!

Dude, they're taking this series into a much more emotional direction and I'm all here for it
Can we appreciate the water pulled up an extra chair for Louise?

“You’ll blind them with magic. I’ll blind them with pain.”
We all need a ride or die friend like Louise Belcher.
... No words need to be said about how I'm feeling right now.
This was such an amazing episode! It gave Rudy some much needed character development and I can honestly relate to him. 9.8/10 😀
This episode and the Christmas one with Louise’s poem really changed the way I see this show. I love these types of emotional episodes especially in cartoons
THEY'RE IN LOOVEEE

I agree with everything you said there. And i did say this once, i feel like she’s started to mature a little bit after the movie and since Season 1.
@@sabianthemovieandgamelover229 yes. I hope she gets a birthday so she can finally turn 10 at least
Yea, I’ve been thinking about that. That is an episode I want to see. I also like it to have:

Come on Rudy. Forget about Chloe and get with Louise

Teddy needs his own episode next
You can tell she cares about him
Bob’s Burgers proving why its the best animated show on FOX
Rudy and Louise’s friendship is so freaking cute. This song playing at the end hit me in the face. Also they look so little sitting there at the table, and the way Rudy’s parents both wave to Louise, so cute 😭😭
I think they’ve excepted Louise as his true friend and they probably see her with Rudy all the time. Especially on most weekends
@@billyrewko4959agreed! I think there was an episode where Louise mentioned they rode bikes behind Rudy’s mom’s house, there must be plenty of moments in their friendship that we never even see.
@@niktropolis2104Yes there was. True
Also I’m sure Rudy has been over to the Belcher house many times to play with Louise. And also Gene and Tina
This episode made me cry. Such a beautiful episode.
When this show ends, I need an epilogue set 20 years later! I wanna know who these kids turned into! Louise HAS to end up with Rudy ❤
She's had a soft spot for Regular Sized Rudy since the beginning.
If they don’t end up together the next best thing they can do is make them bff’s
Platonic roommates forever!
I haven’t seen this episode yet, but it looks like Rudy’s mom finally makes her appearance.

Last episode really should’ve had tina rebelling against the chores
This is such an emotional ending.
And it's just the second episode of the season.
This episode was so great😢. It’s been a pleasure to watch to Louise mature
Devil’s gonna have a field day with this one 😂
Wowie Zowie! Top 2 episode of this season so far.

Outstanding episode! We Finally get to meet Rudy's Mother! 😉
Amazing episode! This one, the Amelia episode and The Plight Before Christmas episode are some of the best, emotional wise.
bobs burgers has been killing it with the endings lately
When Louise is your friend you’re truly lucky in life.
Great episode. Nice to see some more background on Rudy and what he goes through
I'm not gonna say I cries during this episode, but...
I sobbed
Loved this episode, honestly this show rarely displays touchy subjects like this which I don’t mind, fun to watch either way. But to be honest, this should’ve been aired for the season premiere
Really shows how divorced parents affects their children.
It was a Rudy episode. And I loved it. It was calm, tense, and had an emotion I can't quite put into words.
Season 14 is off to a good start. But I hope there are more goofy episodes.
