I lived vanlife for 3 years (living boatlife now:) and I also was not on adventures every day BUT I must say it created a constant low key sensation of being on an adventure even while doing mundane things. For adventurous personalities it’s such a wonderful way to live ❤️

Thankfully I’d already adapted to that pretty good during the year living in Chicago in my van (side note urban vanlife rocks) where it was windy! Often to the point where it felt like the van was gonna tip over lol.

I (18) told my mom (48) that i want to travel/do van life when i have my drivers license and she said she wished she traveled for a few years before settling somewhere. I know for my self someday i want kids, a garden and just a big house but first seeing the world a little

Now I'm too tied down. I always say when or if I hit the lottery van life is the way I'm going. Don't live with regrets. Good luck and stay safe!!!

Amazon has lockers that things can be shipped to and you can just pick it up when you drive through town. there are also postage offices that will hold your mail for around 30 days I believe. in terms of safety when parking there are a lot of little tricks they use to make sure the van is as secure as possible and if they are staying in a town many people will try to park in parking lots with lights and cameras for added protection. hope that helps a bit ! :-)
Where abouts in England are you & where do you stay? I'm in the North west. My friends bought a huge motorhome years ago & have travelled around the UK in it but they stay at camping sites & go back home regularly so it's not the same as living in it permanently.

I used to go to that laundromat! The taco place next to it is yummy. Now I go to a laundromat to one about 5 mins away because it’s cheaper and I can pay with my phone.

Not boring to us. We love learning anything bloggers can teach us! We might decide to do this ourselves. As much advice and information you can teach people is always appreciated 👍. Plus seeing people who love their dogs is always touching to our ❤️'s.
Daily vlogging is mentally straining. I always get sad when my fav vloggers take breaks but I can’t imagine always having to film yourself no matter what your doing or how you feel that day so breaks are definitely good and I totally understand as a viewer. But I will say I 100% will watch a short or long form vlog no matter what it’s about because for me, I like to watch RUclips in the morning while drinking me coffee and if I personally only have chores to do, it’s motivating to be reminded and see that my fave vloggers are doing that as well. But you film when it feels right to you and you’ll always have viewers because we like you as a person
I love your van & thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I have a question? Your bed? Is the frame work custom made? I see you pull out the slated section before you retire for the evening. I know their a company that will make custom interiors if you send them your plans & such. It’s one of the nicest ones I’ve seen. Stay safe & enjoy your life style 💫 the dog house is the best!

I echo all the other comments so far. I appreciate how genuine she is ..I have considered trying out this lifestyle, however, just about every other video I come across about "van living" ..all I see are people going from one grand adventure to the next. Hiking through Appalachia, rock climbing, trekking in blizzards ...and most converted vans do not have a dedicated shower ...I see many van dwellers who go to planet fitness to shower or some other way that's not very convenient. It's good to see the simplicity of living out of a van. If you don't have a shower or a planet fitness membership. Years ago when a friend and I were driving cross country, we got a tip about truck stops...big nice ones usually have a suite of private full bathrooms with a shower. After a day and a half of driving - a shower is so refreshing. We stopped at a massive truck stop that had just about anything you need. We went to the counter and paid a small fee, and they give you a key and fresh towels. Wow after a nice hot shower and a quick meal in the very decent cafe ..we were ready to tackle the next couple days if driving I- (taking turns at the wheel) The space in her van is so efficiently thought out. It doesn't look claustrophobic, it's cheerful and looks very comfortable. Very informative.. Just subscribed ☺️
I keep watching all these videos, the algorithm has me lol. I wanted to attempt the van life when I was younger, but my ex wife wasn't down with it. I don't know what I'm more excited to experience, the beautiful sights to see, or the amazing people I will meet. I hope to see yall on the adventure!

That is pretty cool, having a shower in there! She didn't show the entire shower but I'm pretty sure there is a compost toilet in there.
If you go in their actual channel, they have done a little tour of the van. It does have a small shower, but it’s a really nice van

I just turned 50 and I wish I had much more time for my animals and the outdoors when I was young instead of 12 hour work days😅
