  • Jeremy Goodale was given his sentence for his role in Nohema Graber's murder. Goodale and his classmate Willard Miller confessed to planning the attack and murder of their Spanish teacher over a bad grade. The State recommended he be sentenced to life in prison with a chance of parole after 25 years. The judge agreed and said he was a good candidate for rehabilitation.

If these kids didn't get caught, they'd be laughing about killing their Spanish teacher Nohema Graber until the day they died. Nohema Graber was murdered because Willard Miller was upset over a bad grade she gave to him? World's Gone CRAZY.

I honestly don't think we can assume this. I remember doing some really stupid things at his age, although I never killed anyone. However, I did feel guilty about many things as I matured. Some that I may never forgive myself for. So I don't think we can honestly say they would laugh about this forever had they gotten away with it.

Killing someone over bad grade is just crazy. I feel so sorry for the victim.
To kids out there, getting bad grades in middle/high school is not the end of the world!

Exactly, but these kids today are something else I'm telling you. They really need to pay teachers more. To me I feel a real good and educated teacher should get what they pay say a nurse or the administrator of schools. Children lack of respect today is scary! This teacher from what I researched was an amazing and fair teacher who did not deserve such a brutal and disrespectful murder!!!

For college algebra I had a horrible instructor and he told us all 1/2 the class would drop out and the rest would mostly get C’s and D’s. Having gotten and A in intro to algebra I thought I could get through his class. His tests had nothing to do with the previous weeks lessons and I did indeed get a D.
While he was a jerk and would have deserved a beating I chose instead to retake the class, over the summer with another instructor. I got an A.

Something is terribly wrong. You have to be a real sicko to kill a teacher over a bad grade. Americans kill people over anything nowadays. It's getting so bad. No one talks anymore. They just inflict pure violence on each other.
When I got a bad grade on my French assignment, I asked her for extra help. I asked for some little exercises I could take home. My grades got better as a result. I'm 23 now, and I am pretty good in French, but my pronounciation is not the greatest, and it's what every French teacher in elementary and high school complained about. That was their biggest issue with me and many ridiculed me in front of the class for it. On top of that I had anxiety disorder which made it all the more hell like for me. French class was the worst because the teachers were assholes to be honest, except for one that was actually kind. She was the one I asked for help. I had a professor who would "lose" students' work and fail them long after the term finished. I handed in my work and found out during my summer break that I failed her class. She did this twice to me. She is the worst prof in the school and the lowest rated professor on rate my professor. She made me feel an anger I never felt towards someone. I wanted to yell at her and curse at her with every bad word in existence, I wanted to rob her the amount I paid for that class. It was a punch to the gut. I put effort into a class which I hated. I literally paid her to fail me on purpose. Not once did I think of frickin killing her.
I have no idea what has possessed these kids, but no sane person thinks the most logical thing to do after receiving a bad grade is to end their teacher's life. Even if the teacher was an ass - which doesn’t sound like she was.

Somewhwre between the 12 min and 35-50 second mark, you could see Jeremy had a tear that wanted to come down, but it at least appeared that his efforts to brace himself... had prevented such an expression of sadness display. He perhaps could be even a very changed individual, even this soon after Nohema's unfortunate death..

I just watch the testimony of Jeremy‘s dad, and he had taken him into counseling and trying to find somebody to help his boy. Literally his mother abandoned him when he was seven years old and the dad was trying to find help for the boy ! That doesn’t excuse the horrendous crime that Jeremy did But I hope he gets the help that he should’ve gotten! in prison!

Hopefully, Jeremy Goodale overtime will become totally rehabilitated, and that he will spend his time in prison participating in programs to help him to become a much, much better person, and as well, to help him to better understand the mistakes he made on that saddened fateful day that Mrs Gaber was murdered, and that her life was cut short, because of a bad decision that 2 young men made a bad decision to commit a crime . It is never someone else's fault for the mistakes that one makes.. we all are responsible for our own actions, or bad decisions we make in our lives. There is always going to be consequences to pay whether it be good or bad. There's always rewards when we have the will to do right, but there's always an ultimate consequence when we do things that are wrong, or when we commit a crime against someone else, or when a crime is committed of any kind. Hopefully, Jeremy Goodale will spend his time participating in programs to help him to become a better young man, and suitable for release from prison, and to be able to re-enter into society as a rehabilitated young man. Hopefully, he will sincerely accept his punishment, and in Dooley taking responsibilities of his participation that he committed a murder along with his friend, and classmate Jeremy Goodale could have been sentenced to equal time behind bars, like his friend Willard Miller, except that the honorable Judge Shawn showers sounds that he is deemed to be rehabilitated, and so therefore, hopefully, Jeremy Goodale will prove himself dimmable to be rehabilitated, and that he will be able to successfully, and without ceasing prove to not only to himself, but to society in general, and above all to his family, and to Mrs Gabbert's family that he has successfully become rehabilitated, and can we enter into society a new man years may be long, but occupying oneself, and participating in programs to better oneself, time in prison can go by real fast.. but if one stands still, and refuses to accept responsibilities, and continues in his or her slump position, time can be long Karma and never ending. Determination to overcome a error in judgement can be successful. So therefore, Jeremy Goodale needed to be punished for having participated with his friend Willard Miller in the murder of their Spanish teacher Mrs gabber. However, because Jeremy Goodale has shown remorse in recent days for his actions taken, this is the reason why the honorable Judge showers sentenced him to 25yrs, instead of sentencing him to the same sentence of 35 yrs, as like the co-defendant, Willard Miller.

even if he rehabilitates and participating in programs to help him become better, to understand what he did; he still should never walk. does the victim get a second chance? does the victim's family get a second chance? no, so why should he get one. his reward for rehabilitation should be better prison conditions, low security; but should never be released.

The prison systems, both state and federal, are dysfunctional, and the probability is that Willard and Jeremy
are going to be at risk. America needs to look towards Western Europe, the Nordic countries in particular,
for guidance in its approach to criminology.

That is how things are supposed to work in a civilized society even if the court system doesn't seem that effective in giving people the justice they truly deserve.
