I have the X100, even slower, less features and megapixels, and I have recently pulled it out and started walking around again and just slowly observing the world. Awesome cameras. I am considering moving to an S or T, just for a little more resolution and high ISO ability, but I am not decided yet.
Love your reflections and learning on slowing down. I still use my trusted x100s and love it to bits for the same reasons plus of course the amazing image quality. I always shoot it in manual mode as a lot faster and more precise. Good luck with your journey.
I've discovered a new love for photography with x100f I was able to score on marketplace at the beginning of 2023. I'm obsessed with it. I couldn't find x100v anywhere so finding F for good deal was it.
BUT IT JUST ENDED ABRUPTLY!😂 I WAS GETTING INTO HEARING ABOUT THE START OF YOUR NEW JOURNEY WITH THE X100S!!!💯 I ALSO HAVE A X100S... AND I LOOOOVVEEE IT!!!! I DO AGREE IT'S A SLOWER CAMERA. HOWEVER, I SHOOT THAT CAMERA IN MANUAL MODE TO COMBAT THAT SLOWNESS! PUT IT IN MANUAL AND ZONE FOCUS...AND IT TAKES VERY SHARP IN FOCUS IMAGES -FAST!!!!!!! I DIG THE SHORT VIDEO! SUBBED!!!🤘🏾🤘🏾 - THE BLACKMAN ARMED WITH A CAMERA
I have the X100 and no other camera has made me want to take photos like this one. Like you, i have better cameras. Update the firmware and it will change the camera drastically. Mine was night and day
@@markpratt-russum2846 youre welcome. i also had the S and it was alot faster the the original. For me the pics from the original were noticably better imo.
@@MorningNapalm T has the same sensor ans the S . So i will assume the pics are the same. I have an XT1 which has that sensor also, and i love the camera but not the pics. Im tryin to figure it out but the X100 just look way better to me. As far as resolution theres no difference. Infact the X100 looks sharper and more detailed. Go figure. 16 vs 12 is maybe 12% more which is nothing

Looking forward to following your journey.
The X100S(Second) is not the predecessor of the X100F(Fourth). Between those is the X100T(Third)

@@frankartale1026 now I just need to track down a cable for me to connect it to my computer!
@@frankartale1026 Oh, interesting, I guess I will not buy an S then. How about the T?
