Am I the only one who would totally be okay with a medieval kind of star wars period of time, where you see an influx of blades like this. Like i know there is already the knights of the old republic but more hilts styled like this would be amazing.
I like them too. TCSS is supposed to be releasing a European style hand and a half style cross guard emitter soon. It looks awesome! I saw it on their Facebook page yesterday.
This one is definitely heavier. Large swings might be slower, but if you keep your hand near the center you can make small movements quite quickly. Thanks, I'm not sure how good the video turned out, i tend to go on a bit. I really appreciate your kind words!

I'm not a fan of the rapier styled sabers. But, then again, rapiers are for a specific crowd. It is a nice saber otherwise. I do plan on getting a saber from Imperial Workshop. Maybe if I can get lucky enough, I might be able to find a nice empty hilt to swap over the electronics.

Beautiful sabers the sf rapiers just a little large for my personal taste if they made a smaller more size accurate rapier similar to original eco size 7/8 inch blades I would def pick one up.
Yeah, the mk 3 is the biggest of the bunch. The mk 1 is probably the smallest/ lightest. I wouldn't mind having one, but I don't want to buy a new one either.
ok...was not expecting to see a saber like this! Outstanding! Wow, I need some leather wrap for my Shade V2 when it arrives to jazz it up some. I need to learn a bit more about blades. Imperfections add to uniqueness. My daughter just came in and saw the rapier...she said "you killed my father....prepare to die" LOL
I got my leather from ebay, the seller is from my home state. I have a DIY video on wrapping a hilt with leather, i think I mention the seek sellers name in there. I use contact cement with my leather wraps. The Inego Montoya quote is awesome, btw.
I have the Rapier MK 1 and my issue with the saber is that it’s entirely too heavy for a one handed grip. The solution was to reduce the length of the blade.

@@themeparkdna683 somewhat. But it is still heavy and unwieldy. I currently use a 28” blade. A 26” blade might still be alright to use, but you won’t have the reach lol
It's not that bad if you can get your hand as close to the center of gravity as you can. Also having that index finger over the forward handguard helps a lot too.

The handle is plenty long if you hold it like an actual cup Hilt rapier. One hand with two fingers over the guard.

The Custom Saber Shop is coming out with a broadsword style handguard emitter for MHS v1 sabers. I'm excited about it.

Nice build though I wad never a fan of sabers and hand guards/crossguards.
I like some of them, but I'm not the biggest fan of cross hilt sabers with 2 lightsaber blades.
I've never really liked the rapier lightsabers. Just seems odd.
I can understand that. I don't think I would have bought one except I got the handguard in a SnD bag.
There is no way I could on hand that 😅. If I try to make a quick movement my wrist is going to snap
