Hey thanks so much 🙏 we stayed in the 'Hanowood homestay' I love the location there's no tourists, everybody's friendly and the prices are great! But being honest the room we stayed in must of had damp because it gave us both a chest infection!
Thought to mention that as a culture influenced by Buddhism, the idea of vegan in Vietnam pre-dates any "trendy" Western take on it. Many people (religious or not) in SE Asia observe a vegetarian/vegan diet once a month or a few times a year in accordance with days of worship. That's a nice part of the "non-tourist": culture...10% (or 9 mil people) of the Vietnamese pop. is vegetarian. Def worth a try and a chance to learn more about Vietnamese Buddhism and culture. Enjoy and safe travels.
I understand that my friend. The restaurants selling a vegetable to these tourists for more than a big bowl of meaty noodles is what I'm laughing at. No better way to explore a culture and meet people than through the nations food for us and as a vegan you just cut yourself off from everything here. Have a great day 🙏
Yum. Durian ice cream is very nice. You can also get durian cakes as well if there's a cake shop around. When you say RUclips, they pronounce it yoo-too-bee. 😂😂 Fyi. So that they understand. You say a cold, Winter's day in a t-shirt. 😂😂 The chicken pho looked really nice. A perfect meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I am going to have to binge watch your earlier Vietnam videos 😊

Hey Robert we got the bus from Muang Khua in Laos to Dien bien phu in Vietnam. They charge like £10 which is expensive for laos! Then that same day we arrived got the sleeping bus at 6pm to Hanoi for £14. Cheers for watching 🙏

Hard question. Vietnam food alot lighter and fresher tasting, also less spicy. Thailand feels more modern and westernised in big cities. Both very friendly people, in Thailand kids are shy in Vietnam they are loud Both amazing countries
@@the0point Ask away happy to help. We applied for a Vietnam 30 day Evisa, took around 4 days to be approved then printed it off and went to the border no problems atall :) I know of people who just arrived at the border with no Evisa and got stamped for 14 days also

We got a 5 hour bus from Muang Khua to dien bien phú vietnam then got a 12 hour sleeping bus to Hanoi!
