I seen this on the 10th with U & Keefer On Racer X. But I Just Had 2 Say 4 days late. This is A Bad Ass Amazing Build. I Love the KTM 350 expeasly win 1 has ben done the right way like yours Wick On ✊
Looks Amazing. Using a black gas tank makes all the colors and graphics work. The transparent tanks, while I’m sure they’re great for see how much fuel you have left, are still ugly as can be. This bike is amazing!
My 350 XCF has some pretty loud chain slap, sounds like your bike does the same. I was thinking about trying a small bead of silicone under the TM Designs guard like I’ve read about. The Yoshi I have on it overpowers the slap sound a bit lol
OK so San Diego Powder Coating does it for me and they have found that for the newer than 2014 orange they have to mix up a special color that is very expensive and it actually doesn't last on the shelf -- its a lot brighter than Safety orange they say and tough to get as good as what you see on this bike.
Nice build! Question - how does the big bore affects the reliability? After how many hours You usually change the comrod and main bearings for stock 350 and after how many 366cc ?
@@ZvilnisKadikis I've seen people say they've had over 300 hours on the 350 stock crank. But, the piston is another matter. I don't think anyone should let there bike go to 200 hours on a piston. I inspect/replace mine 100-150 hrs.
@@dirtbiketv1 awesome brotha. I absolutely love your content and your videos. Between my son and I we've had quite a few KTMs. I was being sarcastic for all the people saying that you got to rebuild them constantly.
By adding the 366 kit what if anything did this change with the engine characteristics? more bottom end? will it lug or more top end? what about flameouts? Im considering a 2021 350 XC-F but everything I am reading is that it does not like lower RPMs and flames our easily unless your are really working the clutch in slow to moderate terrain.
Hyper-smooth really kills the perception of what's happening with a dirt bike if no part of the machine is in shot, it's a real pity given how nice of a shot it is otherwise!
Run stainless valves there heavier so you lose some power but last longer. I think making a crf450r more reliable would be a fun build and the head would be the place to start
Hey jay thanks heaps for all your content , but im pretty sure not many people in the world would buy and build such a bike , like not everyone has 3 sets of cone vavles to swap out at will stick to stock builds with stock air forks like the rest of the world . Peace out thx #china.
I think it’s more of a product showcase. Lots of sponsors, working with racer x. I’m of the opinion of it ain’t broke don’t fix it, I’d rebuild the stock head, throw some bark busters on, maybe skid plate, chain of it needed it and call it a day with new fluids.
KTM’s are just sweet looking bikes!
Agreed!
What a nasty bike!
Gorgeous!
Sweet looking! I agree with Sara, the tank looks good for a change.
Thanks 👍
Awesome build Jay! The Black tank looks great on there! JJ
You forgot to mention that you got your mic from Bob Barker and the Price is Right!
Epic as always
Awesome bike! Very nice build!
Thanks!
Very cool bike. Building a bike from parts would be a pretty fun project.
Definitely!
Looks amazing!
Interesting rebuild from the parts up.

Very nice bike,excellent build
Thank you very much!
Rad bike!!!
One small oversight, it's a 4-stroke ;)
Looks great though!
You're right!

Thanks-
do you have any rough numbers
stock 350xc torque/HP
bad boy 366 torque/HP
thanks
great looking build?
Man more and more thinking about getting a 350!
They are great--
Love the black tank 👍
Do you guys ever put these builds on the scales ?
I would love to know , not that it matters would just love to know
Yes we do-- I need to weigh this one and some of the recent ones--
350s are so good! I agree with your wife, love that black tank

Email me how it works out
looks like a fun bike , i really like the 350cc 4 strokes
Looks great man. Personally I like the clear tank, but happy wife happy life. Lol
Right on
Really nice! XCFW rear fender and light?
Off of a 2018 XCW two stroker--
Love the build! How many $$ all in do you think you have in the bike? Great SoCal bike!
A lot. LOL
Great video! What is the actual colour used on the powder coated frame?

Dirt Bike TV Many thanks for the reply and info. Much appreciated.
Do you rate the even older (2011) Kato 350 EXC? They're surprisingly difficult to come by opinions on!
Nice build! Question - how does the big bore affects the reliability? After how many hours You usually change the comrod and main bearings for stock 350 and after how many 366cc ?
Not much-- We think the stock OEM components are amazing. I would say piston changes could be sooner. But bottom end is strong on these bikes.
@@dirtbiketv1 so let's say you could put like ~ 200 hours on bottom end?

Do you install this kit? I have a 2019 KTM 350 xcf. Was the porting and ECU mods necessary for best results?
You in my town? Hesperia?
Down the hill -- Closer to Perris area
Gotcha
Good..good 👍
Thanks
Wow after a couple hours on the dyno by the time he's done mapping it you're just about ready for another engine rebuild hey.
We got 40 hours or so on that motor now and its running like a champ

Mo better everywhere-- but the std 350 is very good
@@dirtbiketv1 Thanks, would you know if anyone is making the 366 kit for the 2021? Not sure if its any different than the bike you built?
Do you have to remap the bike with only the big bore kit?
No- run good with the Stock map- just better if mapped
Your wife is right. Bought black tanks for my 3Hundo and my 150 the day I bought them.
Mind if I ask what this build ended up costing?
I get good deals of course -- Less than 6K for entire bike
@@dirtbiketv1 thanks. Great looking bike. Would love to build up 4 stroke someday.

I rode 450’s for years now I ride a 350 SX. I feel like the perfect bike would be about 380-390cc.

Just buy a 450 or 500 and don't screw around with a BIG BORE kit. Is no weight difference. Why bother looking for more power from a 350
Dyno stuff and don't show power graphs?? Cruel, thumbs down!!
