Hey Brian, I am wanting to get to bed earlier but sometimes it can feel like going against a social current. When do you play and socialise? Also I am a performer and for some strange reason ppl love entertainment at night! What to do?
Lauren Cukierman I'm a quasi-hermit so it's really easy for me to go to bed early. lol. Seriously tho, I've created my lifestyle such that going to bed super early and getting up equally early is fun for me and part of my creative system so it's really easy. I just don't do social stuff at night. Pretty much at all. Period. Done. Easy. :) I think we all need to find the rhythms that work for us and as a performer you have a different context in which to optimize. If I were in your position and excited to perform at night, I'd aim less for going to bed and rising early and more for finding a CONSISTENT time to go to bed and rise!
Guru Johnson, This is a great video! I have been studying chronotherapy and practicing chronotherapy for a very long time. "The Body Clock Guide to Better Health" By Micheal Smolensky and "Chronotherapy" by Ian McMahan are two very good books.
Thank you.
Paradigm shift unfolding. Adverse effects on sleep by Non-native EMF deserves special mention.
Amazing as always Brian,million thanks
Arash A Thanks, Arash! :)

Rodrigo Freitas Yes! :)
Nap is great, too.
Does Brian read a book a day or something? Subscription feed is packed with book reviews!
***** 5 per week is the current rate. Laughing. So fun. :)
***** That is amazing. How are you reading that much?

Yehuda HaMaccabi Thanks for the kind words and great recommendations, Yehuda!!
How about syncing with the seasons - nights are shorter/ longer depending on summer/ winter?
Might be worth doing!
