Yeah man, you need to keep resisting it by tapping pitch up or down buttons, or also you can use trimming. My controls are not the best, I just got used to them.
How do you get the missiles to always be looking at the target area? I always either have to point my plane at them or go into the missile seeker and scroll it down a bunch.

@oz314 what BR? Only if 11.3 like MiG 27K. 11.7 is max BR, and USSR has pretty good lineup on 11.3. I think Su 24M with T72B3, Mi 28N, premium T80U will be cool. If not, it's not needed on 11.7.

I used to do that with 2s6 and FlaRakRad, you would see it if you watched some older videos in this channel, but I recently tested them, "IRST Lock", "Radar Lock", "No Lock" modes, all of them triggered Ah-64A RWR when missile is launched, yes even with no lock my friend. Also Pantsir track lock doesn't trigger any RWR on all jets in the game, the only one use of IRST now is locking targets at low altitudes to avoid ground clutter.

Bit of a shame for gameplay though, one of the most fun aspects of spaa is intercepting incoming ordnance, having to constantly observe radar and switch between radar and irst depending on the situation was fun. guess i dont have to do that anyore.
God the S1 is such a broken SPAA. If you play top tier against RU, and aren't a Hunter caliber player. You may as well just not spawn CAS. The range and TWS feature on the S1 just makes everything a straight up no fly zone for everyone but the RU team. And no one else has an AA system that can compete with the sheer range and broken-ness of the S1.
Do you know what is the most annoying thing when playing against S1? The "return to battlefield" message and you are still inside its range, Gaijin maps are not ready for some modern vehicles and technologies in the game. I stopped complaining about Pantsir S1 when we had better RWRs and fixed render range. I think both NATO CAS and Pantsir S1 are at close levels now.
@Hunter_i86 You can actually look this up on Defense Blog. But the Pantsir and its capabilities are actually not accurate. It was recently reported that its 30mm guns actually suffer from major design flaws and ineffectiveness. And that going forward, RU has announced it will no longer be manufacturing the Pantsir with 30mm guns or its current missile system. Instead, it will be fielded with a larger capacity of smaller mini missiles with a range of approx 7km.
With premium time and 300% RP booster you can make 20k RP in hely pve if you are good it is also a good way to make SL even if the games are quite long
@@Hunter_i86 Like I personally prefer Ground Sim because its just much more chill and slower paced so its actually fun to play, another reason is also because you get like no RP in Ground RB compared to Air RB which is different in Ground Sim
our other top tier spaas arent the best, so the pantsir makes up for it. Plus reflects reality as well, Russia by necessity has the best air defence in the world.

Playing with the Pantsir is easy. This game is totally broken; the Pantsir is the most overpowered AA in the game. Unlike the others, the Pantsir doesn’t alert the enemy when a missile is launched, has a very fast missile, and can hit targets from 20 km away. No other AA in the game can do these things. They shouldn't have added the Pantsir if balance is what they’re aiming for. Clearly, they don't care about balance if it’s favoring the Russians.

I mean you can, both of them are great, with laser you can switch target mid flight if the original target is gone.
