The type of movie that was prevalent in the '60's & '70's, before industry flexed its fiscal muscle and decided profit over artistry was the way forward.
Thanks for the upload, the best one I've been able to see in the US. However, it is certainly not the entire film, and also I sure would have liked to hear Bronson's voice. But, yes, it is a French film.
No, Delon didn't wanted Bronson, he made RED SUN in Spain with Bronson before, but when Jean Herman came back from hollywood saying Delon partner will be Bronson, Delon was upset...and needed one month to accept it (I get this information from Jean Herman aka Jean Vautrin, which is the director of the film).
Oh yes, sorry, the "red sun" part is my mistake, you're right. The point is Delon didn't wanted Bronson. He said to Herman "Oh, no, not him, he's not an american star, not a big one, I shot in spain with him last year and he's a "second couteau" ". If you understand the french, you will ear that from Jean Vautrin (Jean Herman) in RUclips searching: Université populaire du cinéma- le métier de scénariste, un cours de Jean Vautrin Bye
PASQUALEDAVINO: I read somewhere that it is not the voice of Bronson. Delon who remembered Bronson in a gangster film he played, did try to get someone who could perhaps sound like an American, and perhaps was conscious of Bronsons voice. If I remember the name of that person, or can find that info, I'll let you know.
@pasqualedavino Finally able to reply. I had already put some comments above when the reply collumn would not come on. According to IMDB, a man named Jon Berry did the French dubbing for Bronson using a strong American accent, and may have tried to sound like Bronson. Delon wanted Bronson in this film because he admired him in MACHINE GUN KELLY. Bronson might have know some French, but sadly he never spoke French in this film, or Rider On The Rain
thank you for the correction, though they had never really worked together before, unless Bronson had been in a movie with him, where one of the actors pulled out. Perhaps Guns Of San Sebastian, or Villa Rides? the irony is, that the film really launched Bronson to stardom in Europe at least. While Delon got top billing, Bronson really stole the film from Delon, intentionally, or not.

Descanse En Paz Gran Actor Alain Delon. Vivirá Inmortal en sus Películas. Entrevistas. Extraordinario Actor. Si me imaginé que moriría este año 2024.
あなたは何を書いてるの?アランドロンは1911年生まれブラックアイズですし、ポツダム宣言1957年で殺されているのですよ。
