Guys what do you think about a new version s19 pro with Samsung 50s cells ? This overpowering alarms could be because of software settings due to 4P configuration with not a power oriented cells.
When you got a taste of Leaperkim wheels, it's very hard to enjoy other wheels as much, having a hard time to imagine buying anything else (if money is not a problem) , love the motorcycle forks suspensions so much , now we'll see which one of us will get our Lynx first, mine should arrives somewere in January :)
Hey mate! that's it. The S19 is in my thoughts though. Really nice package and was just easy to get on and go. It looks like January for the Lynx here too! Stoked to have that coming. What battery and suspension did you go for?
I've gone for the cheaper battery and 66lbs + knobby tire because i do a lot of offroad, i was thinking of maybe getting a V11 to keep in my car at all time to replace my tiny Ninebot One. having a lightweight wheel to carry around is cool too !@@jonoeuc
the overlean alarm coming easily has been an issue I've had with King Song since the 18 XL :/. I've owned the 18XL, 16X and the S22 with and without the Pro motor and they've all been like that. That's partly why I prefer the V11, it seems like it can just handle more lean and more amps. That said there is power but for some reason you just can't get good leans with KS wheels I've rode.
How close was I to cutting it out? I'm not familiar with King Song beeps and alarms. The gong hit at the end of the beeps got me. I've been thinking about the 'motor stutters' and realized that's a KS quirk from other models too!? Not actually overpowering it, just crunchy feel? Cheers
I bought it to replace my T4 as an errand wheel. Good upgrade on the t4 in my opinion. T4 is dangerous imho. It cutout on me doing 55kph. No warning. Love my Ex30 though so still a Begode fan.
please get a v11Y when one comes available for a test ride. Especially interested in what you think of the upgrades over your old v11 and v11 over kingsong for the waterproofing
Always love your reviews :). I'm thinking of upgrading my wheel to either a S19, V14 or the Lynx. Coming from a V11 also I'm leaning more on the Lynx. It's just pricey though.
Honestly there isn't a big difference in ride feel between the V11 and S19. Marginal but I give it to the S19 (except for the seat). Unless you ONLY want slightly more range, speed and improved suspension. I can't comment on water resistance atm. The V14 should be a big step up in performance. Hopefully testing one this week. The Lynx will be a BIG change. Definitely depends on your use case and riding conditions. Cheers Jono
Nice review but it would help if you stated your weight and size at the start of the review. Did you adjust the suspension to suit your weight? It would also help if you stated some numbers as "quite fast" doesn't tell me anything. It would also of been nice to know how comfortable the trolley handle was for what ever your height is. I've been riding for a few years but I'm 60 so I don't need silly speeds or an excessive weight to lift or want to spend stupid money. I currently ride a Begode Nikola+ and it's a great wheel and easily meets my needs but the reported fires don't make me sleep easy.
Hi Mike, thanks for the constructive feedback. I'm 185cm (6') 80kg (175lbs) riding weight. I didn't have time to tinker with the suspension. It rode well straight away luckily. I wasn't impressed with the trolley handle because it doesn't lock into position. Meaning when pushing forwards it's fine because the handle is maxed out in the forward direction. However when I slowed my pushing the handle pivots downwards freely. This reduces my confidence when trolleying it around. It felt unpleasant to hold, rounded and square. It isn't latched down either. This had the benefit of making it very easy to grab the hand with one hand and lift it up. It's difficult to list speeds here in Aus due to legislated speed limits. I'll try to convey the speed in a manner here; I found a private stretch of road where I'm guessing the speed comfortably cruised at 60kmh (37mph) Hope that helps, Cheers Jono
Hey Mate, Is that for ride feel or protecting the rim? I advocate to setup for ride feel over the other. And take caution when doing risky hits. It made the S19 ride nice, planted and predictably. Although I was thinking several times it felt on the lower side on those curb hits. Looking at the slow mo it's not deforming too much. Cheers Jono
There isn't a S19 teardown either! can't tell if they're better protected than the S22. E-Riderz isn't stocking the EBC Mini. They have to be a bit more selective with the range stocked. Cheers Jono
haha! I phrased it more diplomatically that it might encourage new riders :P It was a nice easy package to get on and go, still surprised thinking back on it.
love the S19, and amazing review!
Hey Zen, yea! it's surprisingly nice and just pleasant to ride hopefully the S16 feels the same. King Song is looking good.
Cheers Jono

That wheel definitely has a target audience and i think you showed that
Another good review. Keep it coming.
Have you ever met up or rode with Josh from the "forward n bak" channel? I know he works with e-riderz and is a really cool guy.
Hey James, we haven't yet but we're planning to in the future! cheers jono

entry level
I love the s19
It's got the secret sauce!

that'd be a great use case that i'd want it. yeah i'd be done with a wheel that did that too.
cheers
As an errand wheel what kind of range are you getting?

I'm happy to see some V11 love! Yea, yet to see KS S19 teardowns. I'll see about the test ride.
cheers, Jono

You can get the lynx for 2700. And i wouldn't recommend S19, it has the same suspension slider as the S22c and they are are maintenance nightmare

Ni una sola persona, que ciudad es?
Brisbane City, Queensland, Australia. Extremely car centric here however there is some great cycling infrastructure so it's odd.
26psi? Fuck that. I run 40psi in my wheels

Not going to lie... roller-sliders: ugh! ... S19: meh!
Why not get the Commander Mini instead?
There isn't a S19 teardown either! can't tell if they're better protected than the S22.

When a wheel can play music, light up like a Christmas tree, and be an EUC, you know that company is not focused.
