Wonderful wonderful Dr Klaper, always explains everything so clearly, always enthusiastic about a plant based diet. Always a pleasure to see and hear Dr Klaper ! Excellent interview, excellent questions, thank you so much !!
Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences. There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese. What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications. Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks. Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods Get off the couch. Get off the iphone or ipad. Get up and go for a walk, run, bike ride , garden, work outside. Move more, sit less.

it is so pleasant and relieving to listen to michael! thanks for all the work and interviews you are doing, keep going it is building faith in this lost world
Dr klapper is very smart and knows his stuff. He is a compassionate and enthusiastic person I agree. Amen dr klapper all children should be and need to be raised on a plant based vegan diet because that's what's going to make you strong and have muscles and keep you healthy. Dr klapper have very good knowledge on vegan diets. Nobody thrives on animal flesh based diet because you are putting cancer and diseases into your body. When you eat a plant based diet you are reversing diseases and being healthy and getting the proper nutrition. Dr klapper is awesome and knows what he is saying. All the vegan doctors who have raised their kids vegan good for them. Flesh eating is not natural and it is creepy. Eating a vegan diet that is natural and healthy and that's a fact. Dr klapper was giving all facts and evidence for what he is saying. Keep up the great work dr klapper.
@@jenng5925 sweet. I don't come across a lot of noobs in the comment section. So nice to hear! Are you interested in veganism at all? Or just eating this way?
Please consider doing an interview with Geoff Palmer, a long term vegan advocate who has some really interesting information on the new research on omega 3s. He has a really insightful Facebook page where he explains that the risk of omega 3 deficiency in vegans is likely greatly exaggerated.
@@Mrm1985100 I've already heard his take on omega-3s. He isn't a doctor or a scientist or a clinician and may not be considering the big picture very well as far as I'm concerned. I do want to interview him though because he's been vegan for a long time and is in great shape. I reached out and he and I talked a few times. I already have several different doctors touching on it. And I have Dr Tim Radak doing an elaborate talk on it.
@@Mrm1985100 I mean don't get me wrong, the video with Dr Tim Radak on my channel from like maybe 6 years ago came to the same conclusion. And I'm not trying to make an appeal to authority. I'm making more of an appeal to multiple authorities if I'm even making an appeal. At the end of the day when it comes to essential nutrients it's probably best to consult your physician and look at yourself and weigh all the variables as far as you want to take it. And I wouldn't put too much weight on any one source. Especially someone who isn't very educated in that direction and is essentially out of their Lane, especially when that person's trying to sell you something lol. Not that there's anything wrong with selling something. I guess I'm just over here processing much more vastly. Anyone who thinks they have all answers without education, like dunning-kruger... Anywho that's a rabbit hole man. It's fascinating really, compensatory mechanisms, all the different variables that go into brain health, lpcdha, RBC, enzymatic conversions, pathways, at the end of the day nobody's taking chunks of our brains out really to see what's going on so we're all just shooting in the dark. Take your B12 for sure though.
vegans can be fat though, on a whole food plant based diet. there's nothing wrong with being fat, the correlation with fatness and disease is largely because of fatphobia and doctors ignoring legitimate health concerns and refusing to do tests and sending patients away and telling them to lose weight. the medical fatphobia in this guys work dampens the vegan message, i walked out of his talk at vegan camp out in the uk because i was grossed out by fatphobic jokes he was making
@@chickpeapeace sure there are people who genuinely are more corpulent due to their phenotype and various factors potentially be on their control. But the overall vast majority of people that are overweight are because they are eating excess calories and also not getting enough exercise. And those people tend to have the worst Health outcomes. And this video really has nothing to do with what you're talking about. A person on a well-planned vegan diet is less likely to be overweight because it's most likely going to be very low fat. When people eat animals they are eating a lot of saturated fat, basically all animal products have saturated fat. And fat is nine calories per gram whereas protein and carbohydrates are only four. So fat is more than twice the calories. Furthermore animal fat results in visceral fat on the consumer. And this is the worst kind of fat. It creates cardiometabolic diseases.
@@chickpeapeace But yeah a vegan can be fat so what. They can also not be fat. The point of veganism is not to needlessly harm animals whether you are fat or not. But if you are a physician, like this doctor then you may point out the better health outcomes. And being overweight is a risk factor.

I’m on board. January 1 was my one-year anniversary as a plant based eater. So happy I switched.
