If you could find a small backpack cover for this that would be good for those rainy days. They need to offer that as an option or just add it on like many packs this size. Great looking pack though. Definitely in consideration as it would be great for days when you hike multiple miles to a fishing destination.
Hi Mark, thanks for the comment. That would work, but also using dry bags for the gear you want to keep 100% dry inside the pack would also be a good option.
Hi Derek, thanks for the question. It's not waterproof at all. If you're out in the rain, your gear on the inside will get wet. If you are looking for a waterproof option, please check out the Thunderhead Pack. I've included a link below if you wanted to take a closer look. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Take care. www.precisionflyandtackle.com/fishpond-thunderhead-submersible-backpack.html
@@sergeanthetfield3001 To some degree, yes. However, if it sits in a pool of water it will absorb the water into the pack. If exposed to a light rain, the pack will absorb the moisture over time. Clothing or gear that we need to keep dry we pack in dry bags inside the backpack.

Nice looking backpack
Would you say it’s big enough for an overnighter? Sleeping bag, tent, etc?
No
I know it probably isn’t, but is it waterproof to some degree?
