This is exactely the foundation of what a good Jurassic Game should be like! Exploring the park, very accurate to the movies, but not just following their storylines. Imagine you could explore Jurassic World like this, with more guests, more or less living and open-world. But as the game continues, the story goes darker and you end up in what could be the best horror game of the year! Man, that'd be my dream! Explore the park as a guest (or maybe new employee, depending on the story) in a colourful and lovely experience, before stuff goes down and you get to a point were you are so scared you don't want to continue (but of course, you'd still want to). Well, just let me dream about it...
So cool that you covered this game. There was way more stuff than I saw in the GB's vids. It sucks that my computer won't let me play these fan-mae games.
Would love to have a survival game where it starts out like this, exploring the park, interacting with various things, collecting info on the various dinos, then something goes wrong, then another, and another until all the dinosaurs are out, eating visitors and personnel, leaving the player alone in an attempt to survive virtual days until help arrives while scavenging what food, health, and weapons are available and finding out why the park went down.
ARK: Survival Evolved would be the game that can do much of what you described. It's basically a big open world survival game. With cutting down trees for wood, mining, farming, crafting, scavenging for supplies, etc, etc. But, it also has tons of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals living on the island you are stranded on. You can tranquilize them and make them loyal to you. With each creature having unique abilities. They also can be ridden. Which is especially cool if you have a flyer or an animal that can swim. There is so much more. To much to mention or explain it all. If you like survival games and dinosaurs this game has everything you could imagine. I'd suggest checking it out. It's on Steam. :)

With this whole isolation thing, this is a perfect game to meet up with friends and others while going to a theme park. Though at the same it is great to visit the island after reading and watching about this world
If a AAA developer took this vibe, but added NPCs and turned it into a shooter/survival game when all the critters break out, it would be the greatest Jurassic game ever made. Like a Bioshock situation.

The amount of fear you can generate with only raptor sounds is great, and that is just one species xD (My favourite, and the one who think is the scariest, is the one on the Lost World, when they enter the long grass and hear that faint "Rrrrrrrrr", signaling the presence of raptors. 100% this fan made one proves that a Jurassic World/Park game first person can be easily made and made extremely well, the potential is limitless just look at Dino crisis but I feel a JP/JW could be far better than that

Like you said this is a jurassic world fan game it would have been awesome if they released a game like this a month before the first jurassic world movie came out in 2015 but that's just my opinion.
there was a leak ages ago that turned out 100 percent correct. According to that leak they'll start working on Evolution 2 after the 1993 DLC; since that has been out for quite a while now i would say it's a safe bet that they're already knee deep in JW:E 2's development.

Wish Operation Genesis & Evolution had modes where you could be a tourist and explore parks that other people have made. This is a close 2nd though. You can tell so much time & detail was put into this.

After or along with the release of Camp Cretaceous, I think we should get a 100% authentic first person free roam Jurassic World. Similar to this, but entirely one big thing, with no cuts or loading. Allow us to go on the cretaceous cruise and see exactly how things were laid out. Let us have a definitive park to see. I want them to give us something that we can see... and touch. Show us where Allosaurus and Carnotaurus were. Let us spectate on a raptor training session. Let us experience John Hammond's dream. Based on how in touch with the fanbase this franchise has become, I definitely think this is a real world possibility.
It certainly needs a lot of tweaking in lighting, textures and animations, but this game has a lot of potential. A think a VR version would lend itself really well to the concept.
