Babies are so adorable. I love watching them shake their tail feathers. I didn’t get to experience a baby. My neighbor moved away and gave me his 23 year old Grey. She’s learning a whole new way of life. TY for sharing.

Nail trimming is tricky, ideally they should be done by an experienced vet. Some pointy ends can be filled though, never cut.

Why do people continue to breed birds. Go rescue one. These should never have been bred. It’s so irritating to me. Birds are still wild creatures they are not supposed to be caged for heaven sake‘s they live in the wild. This is the same thing with dog breeders it’s one of the worst things you can do is to buy a dog from a breeder unless you have specific needs for that dog eg Guide dog. Go rescue an animal they’re in shelters they get killed and so do these birds. People get these birds they don’t have a clue what to do with them and they wind up in shelters. Birds have not been domesticated they are not meant to be kept in cages the difference between a dog and a bird is that the dog has been domesticated over hundreds of years birds have not!! Stop this foolishness.I get that they’re lovely I get that they are amazing companions if you happen to be somebody who can actually care for a bird but most of the time they are not. Seeing this kind of stuff just makes me crazy.
