Jamie Huw Roberts (born 8 November 1986) is a Welsh rugby union player. He has played for Wales since 2008, and has represented the British and Irish Lions on their tours to South Africa in 2009 and Australia in 2013. Roberts joined Harlequins FC in December 2015. His usual position is centre.
He is a qualified doctor, and is studying for a MPhil in Medical Science at Queens' College, Cambridge. He is a fluent Welsh speaker.

Been hugely important in Gaats lineup and a key constant in attack and defence and can switch easily. A great player and we are so lucky to have you talent coming in behind him. Love him and a doctor too.. brains and lots of them.

Jamie was brilliant for Wales over the years.
A lot of people used to aim criticism at him, saying that he was one dimensional and predictable with his straight line running etc.
Maybe so, but the thing is is that he executed the tactics that the coaches wanted from him. He drew in defenders, meaning the likes of George North, Shane Williams etc, then had more space on the wing. And even if defenders thought they knew what he was going to do, trying to stop him at full tilt is a big ask in itself.
Jamie was also defensive captain, so he clearly had excellent reading of the game.
Plus, he used to absolute flatten guys too, like they'd just run into a brick wall.
I remember being in the bottom row in Cardiff for the Irish game, when he collided head on head with Rory Best (as is in this video). The noise that collision made was sickening. Monster of a collision.
Jamie was brilliant. Gave his all for Wales and clearly loved it.
