MBZ interiors now look like a cartoon of immaturity. Come on MBZ bring back class.
I definitely like the previous generation's interior a bit better. It looked luxurious and had just enough tech while still being functional. This new car feels like they are adding unnecessary bullshit just for the sake of it(pop-out door handles, going screen crazy, more piano black everywhere, etc.)
the map is a thing of beauty. Look at those 3D buildings!
I feel like I have never seen anyone point this out but when you are talking to siri or go on a a phone call it will lower the fan speed so you can hear better and so the car can pick up your voice better.
Saw these at the dealer, very posh car inside and out but I definitely prefer the trim with the wood dash instead of the extra screen. It makes it feel nice
Can't imagine those "pop out" handles in the winter, when there is ice around them. Can't even get inside.

Underrated comment. This car symbolically is like Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning buzzword in tech industry currently.
Appreciate the traditional and conservative exterior looks, but Mercedes is losing me with these new interiors. The center/passenger screens don’t bother me as much as the LCD gauge clusters, which look so lazily and cheaply integrated and just like an afterthought that got tacked on at the very end. Even just a proper dash cutout for the same screen would go a long way to make the interior feel so much more cohesive. More physical controls would also be a welcome change.

The way the Model 3 Highland ambient light strip flows around through the doors into the dash with the door trim continuing underneath looks so similar to what's going on here that I don't know who ripped off who 😭
the bmw 5 series offers rear wheel steering as well btw.

I find it weird the ambient lighting doesn’t go all the way in the back as well! I also think these screens are getting a bit ridiculous, but other than that it’s a nice car!
The full ambient lighting is reserved for S-class, obviously.

It’s growing on me. I just don’t understand why they didn’t integrate the dash like the did in the eqs.
Can’t use your phone in the car…unless it’s an iPad and it’s stuck to the dashboard and has most of your car’s commonly-used controls buried in a couple menus.

Amazing interior and exterior for 60 year old driver.
The interior is quite the opposite. My dad could not live with this daily, maybe after months.

Everything besides the taillight and the front grille is gorgeous, hate how every car manufacturer is going the KIA Hyundai taillight front grille look nowadays.
You need a user guide on how to use the cup holders in the rear. The design is very human

You can't judge the sound of the doors slamming in the video anyway. You can only hear it properly in real life.

as a tech nerd i love my apple watch but i still hate touchscreens in cars. apple wathces at least have the benefit of making me use my phone less cause i dont pull it out of my pocket and get distracted after every message.
im a tech bro, if i wanted an overly tech car id buy a tesla. but i want a REAL car, so im sticking with my 2017 is350 f sport until the gross touch screen controlling everything trend is gone.
i also agree with the "twitch streamer's bedroom" comment, ambient lighting is great when its white but colours are just too distracting, but everyone has their own sense of taste.
i tried similar age mercedes without the touchscreen controlling everything, but the interior plastics were very squeaky and the piano black would get destroyed by my watches (sometimes apple watch sometimes other real watches and a ring)

Design wise, I think I prefer the W213, quite frankly. I also prefer the W222 over the W223. But Mercedes isn't the only manufacturer to have gone backwards (in my opinion) with the styling. The current generation of BMWs are hideous.
Nice car, but 90 grand? No thanks.. Mercedes has gone parabolic with their pricing. But I guess people are buying them, just won’t be me. Lexus(or BMW) 4 life. 😊

I had a Ford Taurus wagon as my first car when I was 17. It seated 7 people, had a leaky sunroof and I loved it, women not so much lol. But that’s fine, turns out they aren’t my cup of tea anyway ok bye lol
