Will this replace the current petrol/diesel Q8 range? I've had a Q8 50TDi on order for months and is due to be delivered in the next couple of weeks. So my new car is outdated before I even receive it.

Technically yes. I have the “last” 2022 Etron before the rebadge. It does have some differences to the grill, and most notably the battery size and efficiency.

This is not Q8. This is old e-tron.
As part of the growing Audi BEV portfolio, it was necessary to integrate the Audi e-tron into our naming logic as part of its product upgrade. As Audi’s highest-quality electric SUV, the model fits in perfectly with the Audi Q8 e-tron and demonstrates its position in the C-segment.
this shouldn't be named after q8. more likely q6 or something. Q8 should be better than this.
