my chemistry teacher spends an hour on this and I don't get but you just took 6 minutes and now I fully understand it I wish all the teachers could teach like you thank you so much
If anyone is using this for any A-Level Chemistry Spec, you need to draw the full structural formula for your hydrocarbon radicals and stable molecules. e.g not C2H6 but CH3CH3
The overall is just the propagations with the free radicals cancelled out! Oh my god that's incredible. Thank you for the video, you've saved my understanding of this in only 6.5 minutes
We had a teacher try to teach the class this in about 2 weeks and she couldn't, then another teacher went over it and still made no sense you explain it perfectly in 6:30 minutes and now I understand fully, thanks so much.
hello and thank you for all your beautifull educational lessons , i have a questions please : during the propagation stage why the radical C2H5 doesnt react with the stable C2H6?...thx
Do you have to include all 3 possible steps of termination or can you just use one? Also, in propagation step, do you only take off one hydrogen or could it take off more? E.g. instead of C2H5, you get C2H4, taking two hydrogen atoms off for instance?
I don't understand why it creates two bromine radicals but then on the propagation step proceeds to only use one? You say it like the br. is both of the radicals then why not put br2.?

Bro my teacher spends even half an hour extra than yours I still don’t get mad innit

oh for god's sake
Thank u for saying tho
Is this for every Spec?
ah okay thankyou!!
i was your 100th like btw :)

please note that more than 4 years after uploading you are still helping kids like myself, you’re a legend
Exam is literally in 1 hour.. thank you so much.

ياخوووي طييررر الله يفتح دربك و ينور لك الاسلام و تكون معانا
Thank you for making this quick, easy, and painless.
Amazing! For some reason I was really struggling with understanding the propagation step.
I just got it in 6 minutes thanks to you! You're awesome
This explanation is very clear. Thank you so much.
Subscription for you mate You are the goat
coming back to this video because I forgot it, and I you can help. Adding this to my 'great explanation videos' playlist!
Straightforward and easy to comprehend!
thank you so much ur amazing! i missed so many online lessons and you explained the whole process in 6 mins
my chem teacher took an hour on this and i didnt get it and i got it in 5 minutes of your video Lol I love you
Always how it goes. I had a teacher trying to explain surds for three weeks and a new teacher did it successfully in about 5 mins
@@archer5922 I had to teach my teacher how to teach, smh
Love this youtuber. more helpful than Khan Academy or other youtubers that teach chemistry. Short, precise, excellent
you’re such a gem 💎 thank you!!❤️❤️
you are really a teacher my brother, you have made it simpler than my lecture
What is free radical substitution product of but-1-ene
This is incredibly helpful. Thanks so much!
Exams are finally over but I love your videos so much I still follow along 😂👍

You guys are sick in the head that’s why
Thanks this helped a lot❤️
Ati sundar mam. Aap isi trh Ur vd bnate rho.....👌👌👍👍👍👍
It would be helpful if you explain hybridization
tHANK YOU ALOT. you literally saved me from failing an exam! :0
why cant all proff/teachers be like that? just get to the damn point ! ily manXD
you explain so well, God Bless you truly
Cheers man, really saved me on a tricky homework :)
Starting to like chemistry
This explanation really helped me thank you
this helps even 6 years later :)
Thanks a lot man..My chemistry is always rushing..
thank you very much support appreciate video my man
Really great video, thanks a lot!

Hey Nate can you please make a video on the numericals of Solutions?
great video, cheers

SOOOO HELPFUL
why on earth didnt you tape the paper to the table. its moving around like a free radical
I thought catalysts never get used up.

esto es posible?
que tipo de reacción es?
Thank you so much
Mera moon..... can u tell me from where second br2 molecule came......plz in above propagation reaction
THANK YOU!!!!
Whoa that’s radicalllllll
I’ll see myself out
tHank yOu very much
In the 2nd propagation step why does .c2h5 react with br2
Thanks! 😁
So are initiation and homolytic fission the same thing?
Thanks a lot

I'm in online lesson and stopped listening to my teacher to watch this
Perfection 100
3:23 so is he saying its not possible to write that way? is that why he canceled out the equation?
yes, because you need the radical to start the reaction
No, this is the overall equation and he crossed it out because it’s not part of the steps for free radical substitution, but it is still valid.
Studying organic chemistry in English is sooooo much easier than in german
