    I appreciate how you explain everything in detail and how gentle you are. Your grooming videos are the best. As my dog is a senior, grooming has become extremely challenging. Wish I could come to you but I will search your channel to see if you have any tips for seniors Thank you.

    Beautiful demonstration. Like the way you go gradually and safely working around puppy’s pads.
    Thank you.

    Thankyou! Thank you! Thank you! AGAIN!!! I've got two Cavaliers and one Cavapeek. Needless to say, I'm seemingly forever doing paw grooming and learning your approach to this is a very big deal. I have 10, 15, and 30 blades for my clippers but have to mention I use these on my horse also. I don't think I've ever used my 30 blade on my dogs. May I make another suggestion? If the skin between the pads looks irritated, after bathing I apply aloe and then cover that with Bag Balm which I also smear over the pads. No dry, cracked paw pads!

    Thank you for showing that it takes quite a bit of teasing out the mats before the paw is completely clipped. I kept thinking I was doing it wrong because it took so much time.

    Great video, excellent explanation. I bathe/groom my full coated havanese every 2 weeks, I started with a #10 blade but a NCMG convinced me to use a #30 blade, my havs immediately preferred that blade instead. We don't any issues with that blade size, it just cleans up the hair so much for precisely and less risk of cutting since the teeth are finer and the skin doesn't get caught.

    I was wondering if you could take a metal comb and get down in there and comb the mats out? Or would that be too painful for the dog.

    • @GroomingByRudy
      @GroomingByRudy  2 месяца назад

      If the mat is to sever, I would opt to not,but if you can comb it out easily, its actually not a bad idea to do that, and also keep it from matting..hope that helps

    Wow, that has to hurt to have that knot in there and walk on it, poor thing
