A lot of people in these comments are completely missing the point of these tiers these tiers are not about who are the best QB's there about the type of situation each QB is in lol. For example, Dak is in tier 1 not because he's one of the best QBs but because he is currently in a situation where regular season success doesn't mean anything he could go 17-0 and no one would care he needs to win a SB. Dak has already proven he can win in the regular season with 3 straight 12-win seasons.

@stxrfighter first off, 15ints is a lot, but it's not astronomical or horrendous... 2nd off, if ur unwilling to say 1 great year makes him great, then 1 poor year doesn't make him bad... he's inconsistent bc he's had 4 different OCs in 4 years in the league, he has to learn a completely new offense every year with Brian Johnson being by far the worst offensive scheme I think has ever existed in the NFL and Hurts still put up better numbers than most other QBs would have. Plus Nick Siriani is a joke, he's a yes man and hype man, he does nothing to help scheme for wins and is less mature than Hurts. Give Hurts a legit OC and HC for 2+ years and he's top 3 QB for sure

His take on Herbert is ridiculous. He's been listening to Acho way too much. Herbert has single-handedly willed his team to win games while his defenses have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Herbert set many records in his rookie season and threw for over 5k in his second season. He's played hurt the last 2 seasons and his team lost all their games when he was out.

Herbert is a generational talent, the ideal NFL qb and easily top 5.. Staley was honestly the worst HC in the NFL since the time he was hired and fired.. the fact Herbert was able to perform as well as he did under Staley just provides further proof of how great he is and how terrible Staley was.. but tier 3 is simply “is it you or is it the team” and that’s exactly where Herbert belongs because it’s not him it’s the team or more specifically Staley..

@Drocalypse6 No u can't say that because although having Andy Reid as his head coach and having that environment/system has been very beneficial to his career no doubt about it, but with that being said Mahomes is still Mahomes. What I mean when I say that is Andy Reid didn't give him his arm/talents. Mahomes is the only quarterback in the league that has no flaws/weaknesses. He's able to make every throw, and he's always even keel. He's able to play inside the pocket and outside the pocket. He's able to throw with both hands. Mahomes is in a league of his own, and no other quarterback comes close. Mahomes would thrive with any team in any system. Having Andy Reid definitely makes him a Super Bowl contender every year, but Mahomes would be playoff bound even if he played for the bears or the Panthers that's just how great he is. I don't believe the same thing could be said for Brock Purdy, Joe Burrow, or Josh Allen. To your point yes Alex Smith did good with the Chiefs but Alex Smith never won the Super Bowl even though he had Jamal Charles at running back, Dwayne Bowe at receiver, and Travis Kelce at tight end. Andy Reid was his head coach from 2013-2017 and finally Mahomes took over in December of 2017, so Alex Smith had a plenty of chance but couldn't get over the hump and Mahomes did.
@@CornealiusG24 I know he got the accolades, the talent but for in my opinion is Mahomes without weapons is a different Mahomes he's not putting up the good to crazy numbers and the Chiefs defense pretty much carried that team last year I feel and this year already. That's just me though, and the argument with him going to one of the bad teams and changing them around, I would say yeah I feel he would get a couple more wins than the qbs there now because of the coach. But we won't know that

As for him without weapons, in my view nothing really changed except the numbers did slightly dip a lil bit. He lost Tyreek Hill and won the Super Bowl. Also this year he loses his top receiver and running back and still managed to stay undefeated so for me personally Mahomes is just on another level but to your credit yes last year defensively the Chiefs was top tier but it was Mahomes that put of the points to secure the wins.

I think this ranking is really dope. I only barely disagree with Justin Herbert - I feel like he's clearly the guy and we wanna know if he can start winning. So Tier 2 for me. However, I see the logic of him being in tier 3 because the Chargers are notorious for imploding basically every year; and now those implosions are hapening regardless of what he does, and it makes you questions if he's the "reason."

He was out since week 6 and it came down to a week 18 overtime against the Texans for the division crown. All of his injuries was from him running down field and not protecting himself. I like the fact that Cam challenges Brock every year to prove him wrong. To be picked last, drafted to a stacked team, and lose the SB by a play. I know I'm a Hawks fan, so I admit my bias upfront:
I feel really good about this season for Geno. He is playing with a chip on his shoulder come off a bit of a slump compared to the season prior. We are LOADED in the receiver room, have a great RB room - so the questions, on offense, that it comes to is can our OL improve and can our playcalling improve.
Five of our games last season were one-score losses, with the blowouts coming against truly great teams. So can our defense also hold up? Geno played very good in the clutch last year, and only improved as the year went on, but was stagnant outside of that do-or-die situation [especially early in the year]
Geno is not the problem with our offense - but can he elevate us in that time of need? I think this season answers that question definitively.

I love that Cam keeps it real when talking about Josh Allen. Cause all in all, they're very similar QBs. Tall, athletic, with cannon arms.
