Harald, thank you! Your easy teaching style and presentation worked for me. A week into skiing and I am so excited about my ability, and how fast I have learned practicing what you teach on your vids. A ski instructor said he was watching me and will put me in the intermediate beginner class if I sign up! You're awesome.

So basically your movements simulate a bump ski move or part of the dolphin tun used to ski bumps, as it gets the tip on snow after the cross over. If you use the ski rebound and keep your hips over your feet with shin on the boot tongue you should be able be in the same position. Good drill to show how to get up and on the shovel of the ski and engage the tips at the start of a turn.

Great skiing worked on this with the team this winter. As a matter of fact our season theme was edge hold. We make Quick Carved Turns to ski moguls. This tech also is done when cresting the moguls to get your skis back down on the snow on the backsides of the moguls.

This video is for advanced skiers only. It requires basic PMTS movements and practice. So don't expect to be successful if you are using steering, leg rotation and extension.
