- Spring is in the air ............ Blooms - our yearly spring artisan market - is back!
Over at to Pjazza Tritoni, just outside our capital city Valletta. Over 30 local artisans set up their stalls, as always showcasing their amazing talents and offering their beautiful handmade creations.... I walk around a one day avent talking to and finding out whats available in Malta, With traditional Maltese music in the back ground, Hope you enjoy if you see something you like I have listed many links that I could find from the artist I could find if you were An artist I missed let me know

A nice and interesting variety of artisan stalls. Those old Maltese folklore songs brought me a lot of memories and I still remember all the lyrics 😊.

Yeah I was thinking the same,the first tune was almost identical to the match of the day theme,the second tune they did was very similar to floral dance.

Malta has a craft village, alongside the National Football stadium. Would make a good subject for a future video. While there check out the Aviation museum, about 2 minutes walk.

Hey Steve, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and what a beautiful day ☀️😍 Hope to catch an artisan market when we’re over. We went to one up by the aquarium in Qawra a few years ago. I bought some lovely items 🥰 I especially like those painted plant pots, definitely gonna have a look for some of those. I also loved the lady who did the lace. My nana used to make many pretty items from lace, it seems to be a lost art though. The band were also great, I love to hear the traditional Maltese folk music 🎶 🥁 Definitely think you should do a video with the bee man too! 🐝🍯
Hey Rachel, just trying to sort the bee man ! Hopefully we do soon, yes I also enjoy the band, could have filled the video with there music, many of the Maltese songs of the past ! Lucky to find mostly lovely artists, that wanted to show off there skills
@@EnglishmaninMalta I managed to find the lady who does the painted flower pots on Instagram and Facebook. I’ve arranged to place an order with her a few weeks before we come. I told her about your video (I don’t think you actually spoke to her as you bumped into your brother and sister in law by her stall) so I told her how I found out about her and am going to send her the link to the video 😁👍🏼

Hi Steve.....what a thoroughly pleasant trip and video.....shame about the one obvious nutter....and the bible-bashers were a bit loud !!!....Please have a visit to the Bee man...his product must be good if he's winning medals abroad......funny how most local musicians sound very much the same independent of where you are !!!...but to be fair this group were very happy and jolly...nothing mournful.All in all very enjoyable
