Excellent choice. You're gonna love MC5's two studio albums as well. When you get to the Velvet Underground please, please play them in this order:
    1) their 3rd album self titled (1969)
    2) Loaded (1970)
    3) with Nico (1967)
    4) White Light/White Heat (1968)
Oh man you're getting to these bands. There were four major development pockets in the late 60s early 70s: Folk Rock, Alternative Rock, Country Rock, Funk Rock each with a hot bed of artists that changed music. The Alternative Rock would be The Stooges, MC5, Velvet Underground. The Folk Rock, Rock and Country Rock that Dylan created lit the match in 65' and 66'. Now that you've listened to a good part of Dylan I believe you're gonna notice his influence and how far it goes. And there's a lot more interesting Dylan to explore yet.

@@deepdivemusicreactions , well having grown up in that part of the country, Michigan definitely had its own sound: from MOTOWN to scores of rockers, at the time of course Michigan was the industrial heartland and that was its golden age economically and culturally.

I have mixed feelings, can't chooze between MC5 and THE STOOGES, i'm a mega fan, saw THE STOOGES few months before the great RON ASHETON went on the other dimension. He was a very innovative guitar player, raw but sophisticated. My favorite is DOWN ON THE STREET. FRED "SONIC" SMITH, the guitar player of MC5 (WAYNE too) was a force of nature, too bad SONICS RENDEZVOUS BAND didn't record more. Btw, RAMBLING ROSE was recorded even by NAT KING COLE, it's an old classic. But this version is unbeateable

@@deepdivemusicreactions o yeah, first heard THE STOOGES on Yugoslav radio station, ca.1981, the song was "1969", i was already crazy about punk and THE STOOGES were just what i needed. I bought KICK OUT THE JAMS in a book store in Pula/Croatia at the same time. It took time to like it (i was 14), i knew no English, but i learned fast
