JackRabbit OG2 Review: Good Things Come In Small Packages

- The original JackRabbit OG was already one of our favorite micro eBikes / eScooters ever. The OG2 continues to build on the success of the original JackRabbit by offering several key improvements to the frame, throttle, tires, pegs and more. If you're looking for a tiny eBike that you can actually take on a plane and that will fit pretty much anywhere, there's not a lot else like it on the market.

Your channel deserves to absolutely explode dude. The narration and editing quality are top tier coming from another creator. Big things coming your way!
Much appreciated!
I love the concept, the whole compact size and platform. If i lived in some place flat, like FL maybe? Then yeah, I'd be all about it. I'd like to see a version with the extended battery pack paired with a bigger motor and higher amp controller for more torque/hill capability. I bet some ppl would gladly take the trade for more weight. I feel like it should be a tiny bit more affordable for what you get in this particular package, but it's still cool. I do like it, but it's just not for me. Doesn't quite check all my boxes, although it could if I lived in a different or flatter area. Great video, thanks.

most sane individual filming with a gopro
I love the idea of a carryable compact e-bike. It's the exact kind of thing I'd like to have as a mainstay in my truck bed. The price is a little steep, if it was still in the triple digit range(say $800) I'd go for it right now.
The lack of pedals seems like a waste, though. I'm sure the range could be extended considerably with some light pedaling, and with the electric assist you don't need more than one ratio.
Thanks for stopping by!
...can taste the barista's student loan debt...rooooofl...yup, subbing.
It's endearing, I like it. But that price tag is definitely pretty steep for the main appeal to be its size.
Fair enough!
If only there are other micro bikes at a cheaper price point..
Tried this bad boy at the Electrify Convention in San Francisco and it was pretty fun! I didn't have a very big testing area but I could see the appeal. I'm never buying it though 😭
Thanks for sharing!
This is overpriced. For $150 more you could get an Emove RoadRunner which has WAY more power and range, front suspension and upgrade possibilities.
Thanks for the feedback!
But the emove roadrunner weighs twice as much and is twice as long though. Power isn't everything.
Also how unweildy is the roadrunner battery? This bike isn't for the performance oriented demographic!
@@Shirehi The Roadrunner is NOT twice as long. It's probably about the same. It (the V2) does weigh more at 55 lbs. Weight is the only advantage the Jack Rabbit has. It comes up short in every other category.
I don't understand your question about the RR battery being "unweildy." It's removeable and has a handle. It's no big deal. You said "power isn't everything" but didn't mention range or a more comfortable ride.
If weight is that big of an issue there is also the RR SE. It has the same top speed as the Jack Rabbit, probably better acceleration, front suspension, a battery that is more than twice as big, a display, headlight/tail light and only weighs 5 lbs more than the Jack Rabbit while costing $350 less.
The Jack Rabbit simply isn't a good value at its current price.
lol. Missing the point i think.
