Free PO-33 Kit: Dubstep Safari (incl. Pocket Operator PO-133 & PO-33 transfer file + audio samples)

- This PO-33 kit and audio one-shot sample pack wouldn't have been possible without two of my best friends and the coolest people in the world, Dane and Jan. I mean, how could they not be cool? They had their wedding dance in inflatable T-Rex costumes…how cool is that?! Anyway, they're both super into wild animals, safaris, and Africa…and from their last trip, they came back with all these super cool videos of wild animals - well, they always do, to be honest. However, when Dane showed me this one video of an angry baby elephant, I was like, “Whoa, wait a minute! Could you send me a couple of these videos for a sound pack?” And yeah, I used a bunch of sounds from the videos Dane sent me to create this PO-33 kit and audio one-shot sample pack. Thanks, guys, for letting me use all these amazing videos and photos! This time, though, because I was super inspired by the latest flood of amazing tutorial videos by @VirtualRiot , I got back into Serum and started making my own wavetables. So, this PO-33 kit and one-shot audio sample pack (sorry, trying to slip in some keywords here and there to please the algorithm gods…I know, super sneaky😁) turned out a bit dubstep-y-ish. I made the drums both the usual way, you know, finding a good starting point in a sample and working out its drum qualities from there until it sounds like a proper drum, and I also created a bunch of drum hits in Serum. I used the wavetables I made for this PO-33 kit and audio one-shot sample pack (keywords again…you serious?!😂) and layered them with wild animal noises that I loaded into Serum's noise oscillator. I'll be uploading both the Serum presets and wavetables I made for this sound pack to my Patreon.

If you're wondering how to transfer data to your @teenageengineering PO-33 or PO-133, don't worry - it's super simple.

Just download the backup file and connect your device with a 3.5mm stereo cable (use the “in” jack on the left-hand side of the PO-33 / PO-133). On your PO-33 / PO-133, press WRITE + SOUND + RECORD simultaneously (“rcu” should pop up on your screen) hit play on the transferring device. Grab a coffee and let the PO-33 / PO-133 do its thing (it’ll tell you when it’s done)!
All my samples and kits are copyright-free - you can use them in your productions, videos, or whatever. The main thing is: have fun with this kit (or any of my other kits or packs)!!! Let me know if you make a cool track with one of my kits or sample packs!

To be honest, that's exactly what I intended to do...when I was going through the videos, there was this one lion growl that made me think "whoa, this kind of sounds like some kind of a dubstep growl🤔"...yup, and that's why I went all dubstep on this one😁
