We have just had our first narrowboat holiday inspired by your vlogs and we are relieved to see that even the most experienced boaters have trouble getting the boat alongside when mooring. Though we did manage a week with not failing in, unlike Wes!

Lower Shuckburgh is a lovely little spot to moor :) Luckily it was only a little dip, Wes :) Mooring at the junction is a bit hit and miss :) ps to line the lip of your tin its easier to cut a strip of baking paper, fold over about half an inch along the length, snip the short fold to the fold line every inch then you have a bendy piece which will curve round your tin :)

Top tip you can buy rugs that go in the washing machine so when you do go to the launderette you can pop it in. Maybe get a darker rug so it shows up less grime. It must be nice cruising when you like, lots of spare time to get jobs done on your boat! Will you change your kitchen doors or re-paint? 😊

I loved the bit where you went through the gate at the reservoir, the geese all looked at each other and in unison shouted 'DOG!' Next shot they were all sitting on the water summoning up rain clouds so you would go away and leave them alone. It worked.
Amy has got the same reaction speed as my husband when I fell in the river! It’s a good job I’m a good swimmer as the river was much deeper than I am tall, I went right under and didn’t touch the bottom! Great vlog guys, take care and stay safe. You could have broken an ankle! X

I realize it's not always smooth sailing, or cruising in this case, but I really love the positive/happy outlook you guys have. I hope it continues as you grow older, and only grows stronger along the way... and one day in the future, you're both old and gray sitting on top of your floating home sharing a glass of wine watching a beautiful sunset. What's funny is because of the delay between your filming and releasing of your videos all summer your vlogs have been the opposite of current weather. No doubt when we see this current hot spell it will be wet outside again. Thanks for the vlog! 🙃
I agree, it does put me off of watching. They are lucky to not have to work anymore but compared to other vloggers who upload weekly in real time, there should be no reason to be lazy with editing. That is probably why there subs don’t go up quickly. They also do not respond to comments unless they are chip pals. Says a lot.
The weather has been so wierd (climate changes?), rain and sun at wierd times.. So hard to get our tomatoes ripe, they are all green. But at least you did have some fun 😃

It’s been working for us for 3 years now just fine, and we have quite high internet demands with working and streaming!
