I found Phoebe in Santa Barbara when she opened for The National. Fell in love with her voice and lyrics. It was bliss to hear Conor on her album! 'These two sound amazing together. They are so talented. They look like they are in love! It's cute how they just stare at each other in the interview. Great album!

This album was great! Their duos are so beautifully harmonized. As much as love the dark side of Conor, it was nice to see him be apart of something a little more upbeat. Hope they announce tour dates in the US soon🙏🏻
Ive listened to this album a lot this week. In its entirety- I think it is Conor's best album. Every song is great and every song fits---- a masterpiece

The parallels to the movie "A Star Is Born" are uncanny. You have an older male artist who teams up with a much younger female, collaborates & goes on tour with her. He's depressed & has a plethora of issues. She's an up and coming artist who continually gets more popular & out shines him. The only piece missing is that they aren't dating.

I love Phoebe's voice but not a fan of Oberst's voice. To be honest, I dislike most male folk singers' voices. The women sound sweet and calming and the guys always sound like nails on a chalkboard for the most part, imo. I hope Bridgers has a new solo album out this year also....
Try touring almost non stop your entire life. My friend who was in an RCA band was diagnosed with rapid progressing MS and his docs think touring life contributed.
