Its so interesting hearing Hayley talk about being an introvert and then thinking about all the live recordings Ive seen of her absolutely slaying the stage and commanding the crowd, even as a teen. She truly is such a natural talent. You would never be able to tell by her live performances she's an introvert.

After going to 3 Paramore concerts with my son and being told I look like the security guard, rocking all night, I am 55 and have been listening to Phoebe for 18 months now and she has made me listen to music differently. How bizzare that these two are friends. Definitely my 2 favourite women in music!!!!

I’m 53, been into Paramore far too long to be admitting I’m 53, and now I’ve been into Phoebe for about 3 years. And now after the SNL skit my 12 year old daughter is into Phoebe too. She’s been into Paramore for about 10 years now too. Because. Well, she’s into lots of female singers. But B.O.B.’s Airplanes hooked her when she was like 2.
Now I’ll need to get her to a Phoebe show. And Julien Baker. And/or Boygenius. All good.

This is so incredible. As a teenager, during the riot era, I discovered Paramore. I wrote "one day I will have a jam session with Hayley Williams" in my life goals. I've never forgotten it, even though I'm a 31 year old washed up drummer now. The simple fact that phoebe just got to hear from one of her heroes that she considers her music an inspiration... is beyond surreal. What an insanely perspective changing moment.

The story Hayley told about her Mom jumping into the ball pit is pretty relatable. My Mom would've done exactly the same thing, lol. I remember once, I was like 4 years old, and I fell off a dock into a lake. I was fishing, and I couldn't swim at the time. My entire family (uncles, aunts, grandparents) were just sitting in their chars (guessing they didn't notice). My Mom sure did though. She ran out there like I've never seen her run before, or after.
I mean, I was about 100 yards away, and she ran out there like she was Barry Sanders. I'm guessing if you tried to get in her way, she would've just run you over. Then she just jumped into the water like she was an Olympic diver. It was pretty impressive actually.

I was surprised to learn that Hayley is an introvert. She always seemed so outgoing and sociable, I assumed she was an ambivert or even an extrovert. It just goes to show that you can't always judge a person's personality based on their outward behavior.
