Instead we will tell them how great communism could be if only it didn't fail every where. We will tell them it won't happen here because we are different and we don't let power get out of hand. Instead we will teach them that they can be boys girls or dinosaurs because science only makes sense when it has feelings to back it up. Instead we will tell them no matter how hard they work equity will always keep them at the same person who does nothing. Yes that's what we will do instead.

Totally agree. I think it should be a semester long course covering Korean history from 1912 to present. Also the course must include all of the history with no sensorship just the full raw information material with nothing blurred or blocked out. This course should be a required course available in high school.

One thing surprises me is how few home gardens are shown in North Korea, it has an excellent climate for gardening and could certainly produce 100 percent of needed calories.
I know that American gardens have increased from 22 million to 77 million in the last few years. A sign of food insecurity here.

It makes no sense how these poor ppl are allowed to suffer like this for so long . For generations. My grandpa was in a Mash Unit and he was shot helping to fight to stop S Korea from becoming a part of N Korea . The tyrant is still trying to take S Korea to this day and.wants the USA destroyed . He is now playing with radiation killing his own people with it trying to build a nuke bomb to hit the USA with and S Korea with . Who is helping him ? Protecting him? That's the problem . .

I’m am grateful every day that I was born in a America and so was my parents. I often ask people would they rather be a poor American or a poor N.Korean? Not surprising everyone has chosen to be a poor American than a poor N.Korean. Because the quality of life of even a poor American is all but impossible for the average N.Korean to even dream about.

If she’s telling the truth with her stories then I feel for her. But I can’t help but feel like some parts are inconsistent. She had said that when the electricity was down, the workers had to push a train car which is impossible unless you’re Mr incredible. I also just find it weird that she has started pairing up with the right (which is great) but she has been talking about how gender identity/ leftist shenanigans are the worst thing. I just feel those things should be irrelevant to someone who supposedly has faced so much trauma.

    • @christinegarrett1959

So I just watch this documentary on her... She just popped up on the scene and she is everywhere. What I find odd
about this documentary if it were true, is that she has a net worth of five million... divorced her husband that she married in Seoul Korea after 3 years and had a son, also most of the pictures she was drinking wine with her mother and father ( the documentary alleges). It also looked like she had a boob job. Now maybe she's just living her best life and THAT is commendable. If she is a fake, she is convincing as hell... But if this is some brilliant seed plant to drum up Americans to invade North Korea then the problem with that is if we don't succeed, it's as though there is a gun to South Korea's head. North Korea bombing just Seoul and Busan would be an immediate 15 million dead. I'm to the point I don't know anymore. How did she get out with both her parents? I'll have to read her book, I pray it's not true, but honestly who knows these days.

Having survived growing up in North Korea during the famine of the 90s, she eventually defected to China but was captured by people traffickers and sold into slavery. After she escaped she went to South Korea and wrote about her experiences, becoming a best selling international author. She works tirelessly as an advocate for the victims of people trafficking and she promotes human rights in North Korea and around the globe.
